When unexpected things happen

Chapter 28 -awake?

On the following day, the Acosta's and the cortez' woke up early to hear mass before going to the hospital to go to Gino.

on kiara's thoughts "Lord, I am not perfect, but this thing hurts so much, please, please save me from this pain, please save Gino and please guide him and allow him to wake up now"

after uttering this prayer, she lookep up on the Altar then on the faces of her family, she gave a little smile to them as an assurance that she will be okay

after an hour the mass has finally ended, they all went inside the car of the Acosta's and went to the hospital. When they arrived They saw their friends, waiting for them outside of Gino's room. Their families went inside while kiara and the whole squad stayed outside

Kiara: do you think he'll be alright?

kiara asked

Argel: ofcourse he will! para namang hindi mo kilala si gino

Diana: Gino's a strong man and he's not going down without giving up a fight

kiara then looked up on them, and after a few more minutes they decided to get inside the room

GIno was still lying in bed unconscious, different hoses were connected to him. the huge machine which is the life support was also beside him.

Their family were there inside Gino's hospital room. It was silent as everybody was just looking at kiara as she hold Gino's hands. Different hoses and wires were attached to his body. There is alsi a huge machine that seemed to be a life support machine that was standing near gino's bed.

The people inside the room has never seen kiara that weary. She was crying so bad as she held on Gino's dextrose free hand. Nobody inside the room dared to move near kiara, they just let her cry her heart out.

"GI naman.... it's been days, please wake up." Kiara stated

"Gino, you said numerous times that you love me, do me afavor and wake up please"

Kiara cupped Gino's face and stared at him as tears continuosly fall from her eyes

Gino's hand started to move few minutes after. Gino was finally awake.

"how are you Gino?" carol asked her son

"i'm okay mom, but my head is pounding" Gino replied while holding his head and he then realized that he was wearing a bandage

he doesn't clearly remembered what happened so he asked "what happened"

"you were involved in a car accident gi" argel replied

Gino thought for a while as he tried to remember what happened "sorry everyone for making you worry"

Gino soon realized that someone was holding his hand
