Attack on the Marriage

So after so much preparations the wedding day finally arrived.
Almost the whole city was decorated in red lanterns. The Palace was well lit and was so busy and Joyce.After a full day of completing rituals,A banquet was held hosted by the emporer himself.
As the groom entertained the guests, the Princess adorned in a red robe with a matching veil sat in the bridal chamber waiting accompanied by her good friend, sister Aira.But also noticed Aira's troubled expression.

"Sister Aira what troubles you?"questioned Huwanuwei.
Aira shook her head gesturing its nothing.
"Whats wrong?whats there you can't tell me?"she smiled and scratched her head embarresed and replied.
"Its just... since my baby is still small I wanted to return early though I really,really want to accompany you."
Princess widened her eyes and started laughing.
"Of course!!!dont worry about me. I'm not a baby. You should go home soon.You are needed there.I won't think anything bad. After all you and brother Chan helped me a lot. Did this simple thing make me you look so troubled. Brother Chan won't be angry at you for leaving me. Afterall he is the child's father!!"
She smiled and again looked troubled.
"Thats the problem here.As I know of him even if the child is left all alone at home, he wants his sworn sister to be accompanied.Whatmore the child is under my younger sister's care.But he is the one who demanded me to go back home as soon as the bride enters the Chambers. When I send that I wanted to stay a bit longer he got furious....saying the child is still too small to left on other's hands."

Huwauwei:
I was shocked to here Brother Chan's words for a moment cause I myself know how well he treats me. But I couldnt express my confusion.
"Sister Aira you don't have to think too much. Its my brother's first time being a father and he is a person who has lacked his father's love. He might won't to give the child the best!so don't worry. Now hurry up!!!" I dragged her up from the seat and pushed her towards the door."
Getting out of her stuper she shook her head smilling."Okay then. Ill leave.Enjoy the NIGHT!!!" She winked at me and left giggling.

Things didn't seem right.
"Some one out there come in!" I called one of my most trusted maids.
"Princess,"
"Go to the commander and tell him to be careful and also inform the head guard to be on alert."
She left after bowing.
Not long after I do not know how my idiotic emporer brother dressed in civilian clothes along with the Crown prince snuck in to my room followed by the helpless empress sister. But I felt actually glad about it as I felt a bit less nervous .
However as time went by with joyous discussions, their was no message back and the unease supressed within me grew.

Commander Ming Zheng:
Cup by cup I downed the vine under  everyone's best wishes.
Giving lame excuses even the emporer left the banquet soon followed by the other royal members.Im pretty sure that sister con would give me a hard time tonight.
Although I was also impatient to got my  Princess.. no my WIFE..I had to first entertain the guests.
As soon as the emporer departed most of the ministers also rushed out. Though its a bit unusual they are the ones who are dissatisfied with us.Apart from that its not them I had to entertain but the loyal ones. However the peace of mind hallucinated broke with a single message brought by my Wife's personal maid.
"Commander, the Princess asked to be vigilant about the security." She bowed and soon left.
No more words were needed, I myself started to feel the abnormality.
All the guards around the hall seems to be the most trusted.Though it sounded good, the duties shouldn't be distributed so.
In no time the sounds of sword clashing  was heard from the residence entrance as a blood bathed guard came rushing into the hall crashed to the floor with his last breath.
The left out crowd started screaming and running.
"All the guests stay in the hall and all the soldiers follow me!"
I unsheathed my sword and rushed out with my men. I can't let the intruders get to my wife. I can only hope her to be safe as our room was specially designed by herself.

Huwanuwei:
A small sent of blood wafted in the air as it was also too silent.knowingly brother and I both looked at each other.Even the empress nodded. I couldn't wait any longer for the messengers.
"Brother emporer stay here i will come back soon."I wanted to rush out as soon as possible.
