Many years later
Lumi now being the age of twenty one was now walking around the markets in Zaiwei, She was going to buy things for her parents who are now old. Her white hair still short and kept done well. She wore a skin tight dress, white with gold accents on the side with a matching hair pin in her short hair. She looked around and saw the shop she was looking for. "Madam Fu how have you been?" she said to the old lady who ran the book shop. "I've been doing good thanks to you" the old lady smiled, "What would you like dear?" Lumi looked around for a bit, "something to sooth my parents" The old lady smiled, "If only my children cared about me as much as you cared for your parents" Lumi looked at Madam Fu, her eyes soften, "Oh madam Fu you are like family to me" Lumi picked up a few books, "these will do, how much is it?" Madam Fu only shook her head, "You are a noble lady, yet you still come visit these poor markets, take them for free dear." Lumi shook her head, "I might be a noble but I will pay for the books Madam Fu, how much are they" Madam Fu only shook her head as she smiled, "just take them dear" Lumi sighed, "Go on, leave" Madam Fu smiled as she gently pushed Lumi away, "Don't worry about me Lumi, just take them" Lumi looked at madam Fu and smiled, "If you wish, I will. I will visit you tomorrow Madam Fu."
As Lumi walked back home she bumped into someone, dropping all of her things. "Oh dear" she bent down to pick them up when her hands touched with another. She looked up to see a handsome man, with ink like hair and honey golden eyes, "My apologizes, I seem to have caused you to drop your things when I bumped into you" she stood up straight and only smiled at the man, "Well thank you for picking up my things" The man only smiled. "Well I'll be on my way" Lumi continued to walk back home. As Lumi walked into her home she walked to her mothers and fathers room, they were getting more and more sick. "Lumi my dear sweet child, please come here" her mothers' dry voice spoke lowly, "My dear you must find a husband, me and your father are getting old and can no longer get out of bed." Lumi looked at her mother, her mothers chocolate bean colored eyes no longer shined the way they used to, her mothers beautiful white hair has become colorless and tangled. She held her mothers hand in hers. "Of course mother"
Lumi sat in her room, looking out the window, being a noble was such a lonely life, if her mother and father weren't so sick she would still get yelled at even though being the age of twenty one. As her pastel pink eyes scanned the roads of ZaiWei she spotted someone familiar, the man that bumped into her. She shook her head and looked again only to meet eyes with his golden eyes. She quickly closed the window and shook her head again. She went to her desk and continued to read.
Lumi stretched then stood up to open her window again only to see the dark sky and the beautiful stars. "Dark already?" she softly spoke. she slipped on a warm coat and walked outside. The cold night in ZaiWei was perfect to walk in. The usual loud town was only quiet during night. She breathed into her hands trying to warm then. As she walked in the cold dark she made it to Autumn Breeze Park, this place was filled with a beautiful scenery and light. She sat down in one of the many gazebos. She rested her head on her arms as she took a breath of air. Then suddenly she heard a noise that made her sit up. She lowered her gaze and looked around the area. No one seemed to be in sight. She shook it off as her imagination and went back to doing what she was doing before. Then she heard the same noise again, she didn't want to deal with whatever it was so she got up and left before anything weird happened. As she was walking back she heard the same noise again, this bothered the white haired female as she tired to ignore it again. She was more annoyed then scared at this point. She then saw someone in the corner of her eyes, she quickly turned around towards the person, "Who are you and what do you want" She pointed her small dagger at the unknown figure, her pastel pink eyes were sharp and dug holes into the random person. She heard a small chuckle and saw that the figure was the man she met earlier that day. 'Is this man an assassin sent to kill me?' She thought. She shook her head, 'Don't jump to random things Lumi'
"Who are you" she spoke sternly , her eyes not breaking any eye contact with the man. "I was just passing by" He said as he slowly walked towards her. "Don't come any closer towards me or I won't hesitate to kill you" She spoke. "Don't worry I'm just a normal person" the man with golden eyes spoke. "what are you doing here out so late then?" she asked, "I could ask you the same thing but to answer your question I was looking at the stars." She sighed, "then what were you doing in the shadows then?" He only smiled, "Well I found something more pretty than the stars" His honey golden eyes were filled with happiness. She sighed then slipped her small dagger back into her pocket. "I suppose, I'll be on my way then"
Lumi began to walk away until she felt him grab her wrist, "Wait" She tried to pull away, "Let me go, I don't even know who you are and you don't know me" He chuckled, "I'm Alex Yang" She turned towards him, "And I'm Lumi Chen, now let me go" She pulled her wrist out of his grip and she walked home.
Alex looked at her as she soon became nothing in the darkness as she walked further and further away from him. His heart ached. He finally found her again and she seems to not remember him. How he missed her pastel pink eyes and her snow like hair. "It seems she has forgotten me." his golden gaze fell onto the ground, "Well of course she did, I'm just a commoner."
