People Meet Percabeth

I just heard from my son Percy that he's coming home for his birthday. It's a big step when you turn sixteen. He even said that he would bring his girlfriend, but he wouldn't say her name. He said it was a surprise and that he would be here in three hours.

I can't wait to see the look on his face when he's found out I'd made his favorite blue cake. He'll love it. And the party. It won't be a big party but at least it is one. I hope he brings Thalia. I would really love to see her again and the rest of his friends. Grover and Annabeth. I kind of miss them.

Oh the cake! I have to make the cake! I can't just show them the batter. That would be crazy of me to do that.

"Paul." I shout at my boyfriend. "Can you come over here and bring me all of the ingredients for the cake."

"Of course. I'll be right there." I hear from somewhere in the apartment.

I look for the recipe and find it. As if right on cue Paul shows up and says "Just tell me what I need to do"

"Ok. I need the milk, butter, 3 eggs, oil, the measuring cups and the mixer. The flour etcetera. Oh and the blue food coloring. You should know this I've only made this cake about two times with you"

"Well, Sally I guess it takes awhile before you actually remember this by heart."

"Oh and when your done go and get the party supplies from the store: party hats, balloons, confetti, etc."

"Sure Sally. Here are the ingredients. I'll go get the stuff now."

"Oh and Paul... Thank you."

"Sure thing. I'll be going now." And with that he left. Off to get the party supplies and with me making the cake. This will take a lot of hard work to pull this off and in three hours. Will the Gods help me?

"Ok. C'mon Sally you're gonna have put a lot of effort and you have very little time to do this. Don't waste any time." And with that I started mixing all the ingredients.

~~~~~~~~TIME LAPSE ~~~~~~~~

I was putting up some streamers. I had already made the cake and placed it on the table. Then I heard a knock. Percy's here!

I walk towards the door and look through the peep hole. I see Percy and all his friends: Annabeth, Grover, Thalia and about 5 more. But I don't see anyone new. Hmm maybe she couldn't make it.

I open the door and shower Percy with hugs. "Mom you're squeezing the life out of me." He says.

I immediately let go of him.

"Sorry. I just missed you so much."

"I know me too and I love it."

"Love what?... Oh this. It was pretty last minute." I say gesturing to the party supplies me and Paul put up 5 minutes ago.

"But it's great. Thanks."

"Anything for you. Come in. There's blue cake."

I greeted his friends, brought out the cake and we ate it. Of course, it was delicious. But then I remembered about Percy's girlfriend.

"Percy what about you're girlfriend. She couldn't make it?"
Percy and Annabeth looked at each other. "Seaweed Brain you didn't tell her?" Annabeth said.

"Tell me what?" I asked.

Percy said. "Well, Wise Girl I was getting to that part." Then he faced me. "Um. Mom, me and Annabeth are going out."

"Yes! Finally! I knew you two would go out someday."

They just stared at me like I was crazy and Percy and Annabeth were blushing. Aww they were so cute together.

A/N heh sometimes I forget to put that there. Keep putting requests and suggestions to help me because I really don't have a lot of ideas. Sometimes I get writers block and when I have the idea right there the whole story just flows out. And I sorry these stories are so short it's just that I'm not that good at writing a super long chapter unless I really need to to get the story out. So yeah. Special thanks to daughter_of_posiden for giving me this idea. I really want to make a Christmas chapter but I promised someone a chapter with their idea. Or maybe I can do it in there. Anyways, obviously as I started this chapter...
