Hello fellow readers, my name is Hunter and this book will be dedicated to my upcoming service dog prospect River. River isn't currently born at the time of writing this but she will be born soon! her mom is a goldendoodle named Andy and her dad is a standard poodle named Zero! Zero was my former service dog in training... he washed out because he was too crazy but that's not his fault... also this is an accidental litter of puppies! i'm very excited! it is currently the day before Easter the pups are almost here! there's a total of 14 puppies almost ready to be born! i really hope they're all healthy :)

Andy is going into labor! the first pup will be born soon!!! i'm so excited! my sister is currently helping deliver the first puppy while I sleep... then at about 11:45 PM the first puppy was born! he is happy and healthy! he doesn't have a name yet but hes beautiful!!! there's still 13 puppies to be born though little do they know the next puppy is going to take a lot longer to come out! we had to go to the vets and as soon as we stopped the car to go in the pup was finally born!!! that leads us to Easter morning

at about 12:30 the second pup was born he's healthy as well! i'm writing from the information my sister gave to me so it's as accurate as possible! it is currently Tuesday April 14th but i'm going to start where i left off! 11 pups are born outside of the vet we only thought there would be 12 so we started driving home... just before we got home 2 more were born!!!

all 14 of the puppies made it to their 2nd day we are hand feeding a few of the runts because they are so small... there's 3 runts they're all girls and there's 2 huge boys! i can't wait to get River i'm going to have a hard time choosing between them

all the pups are half-way through their first week! soon i'll be doing more picture updates! :) we finally have collars for all of the pups! there are 8 girls and 6 boys!!! their mother is doing great! we're lucky that all of them made it this far! i hope all of them make it through their first week... we're weighing them every day and making sure Andy doesn't accidentally lay on her pups... the vet can't come check on them because of covid 19 so my mom is keeping a close eye on them... they don't go more than 5 minutes without being watched by someone...

i'm starting to get a lot of hate comments on instagram for "irresponsible breeding" even though i'm not home and wasn't home when she got pregnant nor when she gave birth therefore its not my fault plus im only 15 why hate on a child for something they weren't home for? if they're hating on me for anything it should be for my decision to rehome zero... i'm going to put this very clear my mom wanted to get our female as a pet we didn't have a chance to get her spayed because of covid (the date to get her spayed was in March...) there was only 1 day that they could have bred and that was when my sister put Andy and Zero out at the same time my grandma had Andy most of the time after we got her anyway... so it was very unlikely that they could have bred but it happened anyway... im very upset that i have to give zero up... its because he hates working.... not because i don't want him... i honestly don't think i'll actually be able to let him go... if i don't let go i'm doing what's best for me (kinda) and being selfish af if i still work him... on the other hand if i do let go it'll break me but he'll be happier and i want him to be happy...

update on zero... i've decided to keep zee... i love him too much to let go and my mom is going to keep 1 of the puppies :) zero is going to go through a lot of training first i'm going to work on his reactivity towards dogs... then i'm going to retrain some of his basics, last but definitely not least im going to retrain his tasks! as for the pups they are all still alive and growing so much bigger!
