*Sakura's P.O.V*
It had been a few days since the attack, I had already joined team 7 and didn't bother any of my teammates. I trained on my own and kept myself away from others, they all tried but eventually gave up, all except for one. Naruto kept trying to talk to me, I ignored him. I chuckled sarcastically, even after all these I still ignored him, I thought sadly.
The only thing that helped me was my determination to not let anyone die again. I was alone once again my parents got caught up in the attack, I let them down not being able to protect them at all. Everything was so different, what did I do to change everything so much. I kept thinking back to that day, we had gotten more damage than before but they didn't take Sasuke.
That made sense though, who would take an 11-year-old. He didn't have much training and didn't really have the urge to kill Itachi, which was the weirdest thing of all. Even though it was very weird, it makes things easier for me to make sure he didn't go the wrong path. I was really thinking of just trying to find Tsunade and becoming rouge.
This is where I am now, Naruto getting mad at the Hokage for not getting us any harder missions and Iruka-sensei getting mad at him for trying to get a higher mission even though we're barely genin. I sighed remembering how this would turn out to be a B-rank maybe even an A-rank mission. I suddenly got scared, this was one of the things I didn't want to relive.
I had mange to increase my chakra capacity and my stamina was much better now, the only thing was I didn't dare move on or I would look very suspicious and I really wanted to avoid that because of what happened the day of the attack.
*Flashback*
I was running towards the Hokage tower, I didn't really have a lot of stamina so it took longer than usual to get there and once I was there I was out of breath. I had barged into his office and told him what was happening to which he sent more ninjas to go fight and asked me to stay for something.
I nodded thinking that he would probably make me send a scroll or inform everyone else, but his question caught me off guard, "So you say your name is Sakura right?" he asked and I just nodded, "And that you are just a student, not even a genin right?" I nodded again not having any idea where he was going with this.
"May I ask you one more question than" I nodded, impatient to go back and inform civilians to escape. "Well how did you break out of that high-level genjustu, you were talking about." he inquired seriously. I froze, I didn't really think that far ahead but what could say. If I said I was a time traveler that came from a horrible future and I wanted to avoid that he would ask more questions.
I couldn't exactly lie either since he would figure it how very fast and think I was a spy from the other nation trying to get information on Naruto. I sighed finally deciding what to do, "I can't tell you now but I assure you that I am no spy and I want no damage to happen the Konohagakure. Everything I do is t save this village and world from destruction." I paused thinking.
"I will not answer any questions until the time has come, but you may keep me under watch just to take precautions if I am a spy." I finally finished, I looked at him straight in the eyes to show how serious I was and he seemed to know I wasn't lying at all. He sighed, "I will leave you alone for now Sakura, but if I have to get, or Ibiki Morino involved I will not hesitate for the sake of the village." he said and ran off to go help the others.
I collapsed on my knees, shaking from fear I had to be really careful with everything now, I though scared. I picked myself up and went to go warn civilians about what was happening and at least make sure that they were safe. I then remembered my parents, I wasn't to worry though. They weren't ninjas but they had some-what experience with fighting.
*Flashback Over*
I had developed a small fear of the Hokage so I didn't bother to think about asking him for permission to leave the village, also I knew that I promised him no harm to the village and I intended to keep that promise.
I had made extra precautions too, I made sure my outfit was easier to move in and trained so I had higher stamina than before. My outfit was the same one before but more suitable for a genin/child. The last thing I noticed was Kakashi-sensei seemed to pay more attention to Naruto and Sasuke than before.
Since Sasuke didn't really have a bloodlust for Itachi so he was very open to Kakashi-sensei. He must think I was worst than trash since it looked like I didn't care for my team.
I sighed he made an opinion of me so early on that it seems hard to change his mindset with just 'one good deed'. I was forced to train on my own since he didn't bother training me as much since I was a 'girl' and came from a 'civilian family'.
Everything was going wrong and it seems like I couldn't fix anything if this went on I fear something worse could happen.
I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard Naruto cheering with Sasuke smiling happily, I looked away this wasn't the Sasuke I knew. Then a thought struck me we had just gotten the C rank mission and I started remembering everything that was going to happen.
Something was wrong though, it wasn't the same drunk guy we had to escort to the land of waves. My eyes widen, everything was different what did I do...
