The Flower in the Storm

~Chapter 3~

*Sakura P.O.V*

We were on the move before daybreak, the girl able to keep up with us very easily. No one bothers to talk to her, other than Naruto, who she happily talked to. I would give her sideways glances and always looked at the cat afraid it would turn into a girl again. 

I didn't bother telling Kakashi-sensei since I knew he wouldn't believe me. We had sat down to rest for a bit before going faster than usual, we had to be there by Thursday and it was Tuesday afternoon.

Kakashi-sensei decided that we would get there a day earlier so we could see the town and explore it a bit more. I wasn't as gullible as Naruto who believed him. I just couldn't figure out why we had to get there earlier. 

Hours passed by and it was soon nightfall, Kakashi-sensei made each of us do something, I was in charge of taking care of Wendy while Sasuke went and lit the fire, and Naruto looked for a stream. Kakashi-sensei was overlooking Sasuke in case something wrong happened.

"Are we almost there yet?" She whispered quietly while she cleaned off any leaves that may have gotten on the cat. I looked at her and the cat, "Will she not talk today?" I question her, "No, she is a bit cranky over it, so please don't say anything mean." 

I nodded, "We'll get there tomorrow afternoon" She nodded and looked away. "Your different, like me" I looked at her, "What do you mean" she looked over at any of the boys and went closer, "I feel this magic coming off of you, it seems familiar but I just can't put my finger on it."

It didn't make sense to me, Magic? "What are you talking about, there is no magic here" she smiled and shook her head, "That's the reason I'm able to move the wind, look" I saw wind move and she blew it towards the fire. 

She giggled as the fire went out and Sasuke looked annoyed. "I don't use the signs at all, I and some of my friends came from the past. A magic portal allowed us to come to the present and defeat a dragon that wanted to destroy our world.

I know it sounds weird but I feel like you've also come from the past, but not like me" My eyes widen, "Wh-what do you mean" I curse myself for stuttering but nodded for her to keep going, "I knew someone with the power to turn back time, she also had the power to rewind time, look into possible futures, and even restore broken things. She had helped us so much, I may have never been here at all."

My eyes widened, her friend could see the possible future. She could aid me in making the future better, "Where is your friend now, could you tell me where to find her please!" I begged if her friend could help me everything would be perfect and we may never have to experience death again. 

She smiled and I saw the cat also smile, "She's in a better place now, she had used 'Last Age', her spell to rewind time, to save us all from death. She is alive but has aged and can no longer use magic.

I met her again for the last time, and she once again saved me and my friend from death, even I don't know where she is." I gripped my hands tightly, "I'm getting off-topic, but I feel that you have traveled through time like us." I looked at her straight in the eys and I could tell she wasn't lying. "So help me get away from here, I know you want to change something, but I don't know what."

I nodded, "I need to train with Lady Tsunade to get stronger. I need to prevent my future from becoming reality." She nodded, smiling, "Why don't we switch then, after we get there we can roam the town and you'll let me go. 

I can escape while you can stay with, Ummm whatever her name is." I nodded, liking this plan, "The only thing would be the guys with white hair, he's been watching ever since I blew out the black hair fire. I nodded, he was watching us very carefully.

"He doesn't really trust me, what can your cat do other than transform into a human, she grinned, she can fly. She could fly me away and you could go. Just make sure you're careful, it doesn't seem like he likes you very much."

 I nodded, as much as it hurt, it was true. He didn't like me in the slightest. I nodded as I looked down on the ground, "He doesn't, but I don't know why the only change was that I seemed to be weaker before than now, but that doesn't make sense.

Why wouldn't he like me now, I was stronger and could really use his guidance but it seems like he only focuses on Sasuke and Naruto." I said miserably. She pat my back, "Don't worry I know things will work itself out, now I think we should go eat, it seems like they cooked the food already." I nodded and we went, Naruto was back and he seemed to be in spirits because he found a stream with drinkable water.

*TIMESKIP*

We were here in the village, and we split off, Wendy with me. We were ready to leave when Kakashi-sensei added, "Sasuke and Naruto will also be going with you girls," He said innocently, " Meet back here at around 8" he left walking the other way happily. I clenched my fist, "So why don't you guys go over there and I and Wendy will go the other way." I said their eyes widened when they heard me talk, it didn't last very long.

"Sakura, Kakashi-sensei told us that we would be going with you guys, so we'll just follow you." I grit my teeth, I turned around to find Wendy smiling. She winked at me, "Carla now!" She threw up the cat and she grew wings. We (me, Sasuke, Naruto) started in awe. 

"She picked up Wendy and Wendy called out to us, "I'll see you guys later" She winked at me and I knew where she was going to go. I nodded, as the cat flew her away, she stared getting tinier and tinier till she was out of sight.

"WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO! SHE JUST LEFT KAKASHI-SENSEI WILL KILL US" I walked away, leaving them freaking out smiling. This was my chance to get stronger, I wasn't going to miss this no matter what. I pumped my fist in the air happy.

 Wendy had fulfilled her part of the deal, now she just needed to get home, while sakura would try her best to convince Tsunade to train her, everything seemed to be falling in place.
