The Flower in the Storm

~Chapter 2~

SO heads up Wendy Marvel will be in this chapter, she won't be in the book, but I needed to move up the book, so I had to add someone in, I didn't have an OC and I couldn't make one up so I just added her in. Anyways let's get to the story.

*Sakura's P.O.V*

It was this small girl, she had dark blue hair that reached more than half of her back. She also had this stuffed cat with her, she had hazel brown eyes and had small scars littered around her body. She looked very innocent and looked to be older than us by a year or two. I looked at the Hokage and back at her, "Her name is Wendy and she is to be escorted to Tsunade."

My eyes widened and I looked at her, she looked too frail to be a ninja, much less a healer. A healer must be able to survive everything and be the last one standing no matter what. This girl obviously wouldn't be able to handle the pain and would be the first one out. "May I ask why, Hokage-sama?" I asked curiously how and why she was going to be escorted to Tsunade.

"Well Sakura aren't you interested, she has extraordinary healing powers far surpassing Tsunade." he paused and I let that sink in, and he continued, "She also seems to be able to do ninjutsu without making the hand signs." my eyes widened and everyone couldn't help but stare at this girl in shock. Who was she, and how did I not notice her.

"Um Sir, if it's fine with you I would like to just go by myself. I don't feel very close to them and wouldn't want to burden them" the girl, also known as Wendy, said quite sharply. She had this blank face and when she had turned to face Hokage-sama, I noticed a blue tattoo on her shoulder. She seemed quite desperate to just go by herself but the Hokage wouldn't allow it. "No, I need to make sure that you go to her safely, what if you were attacked by bandits," he said.

The girl gave up, "If I must be escorted, may you at least tell them not to judge me so soon" she said sounding tired as if she had to repeat it daily. I looked back at my teammates and they did seem to be judging her. She faced us "I may not be whatever you guys call a 'ninja' but I'm a proud member of Fairy Tail, and I fight on behalf of my guild" she had said seeming proud of it.

"What's a guild & Fairly Tale?" I looked over at Naruto who spoke looking confused, I heard the girl sigh as if tired of all these questions. "When do we leave Hokage-sama?" I asked to try and divert her attention, it worked and she looked over expectedly. "You will leave in the morning tomorrow" I expect you guys to be there by Thursday" It was Monday so around 3 days. He continued, "You are also to see if she is capable of becoming a ninja" to which Kakashi-sensei nodded.

"You are now dismissed, Wendy, you will go with Sakura. Wendy will be living with you until tomorrow since you are the only girl" I nodded and motioned for her to follow. She followed her hair flowing behind her, while Naruto and Sasuke watched us leave. It took us a while to get to my house, which was empty. I opened the door and she came in.

She sat down on the couch with that stuffed toy, I had gotten annoyed with an older girl carrying that around, "Can you please leave that stuffed toy here, it's annoying. Plus you're not a kid..." "You don't get to tell Wendy what to do! She is older than you and has fought many battles" my eyes widened, that stuffed toy was talking. This stuffed toy was a she, and she had a motherly tone while she yelled at me.

Wendy had come out of her shock and she grabbed the thing, "Carla! You were supposed to stick to plan" she sighed and looked at me. I was on the ground and shocked at that thing, her name Carla, just talked and Wendy didn't seem the least fazed. "Wh-WHAT IS THAT THING" I yelled pointing at the thing. "Excuse you, child, I am not a thing but also a human being like you" She then proceeded to turn into a human, and I fainted.

*Wendy's P.O.V*

"Carla! She fainted, what should we do?" I asked worriedly. I checked her pulse and she was fine. I propped her up on the bed and healed her, she had many bruises and had many cuts too, she must have been training too hard. I sighed and looked at Carla who was now in her human form, "What do we do now Carla, they're taking us somewhere to train us and use us" I said quite scared and worried.

I was needed back at Fairy Tail and I didn't know how to get back. "It's okay child, you need not worry, Levy and the others must be already looking for us, all we need to do now is to get away before they make us go train." Carla calmly said, I looked up and smiled, "Your right, when we finally meet up with the lady, we'll make our escape" she nodded and we went more into details.

*Next Day* (still wendy's P.O.V)

I and Carla had woken up early and had gotten ready to leave. The girl had yet to wake up which was pretty weird, she took a whole day. I went to check up on her and she had woken up, she was staring at her white walls with a blank stare, "What was that thing." she didn't ask, she demanded an answer. I ignored this and checked her pulse, steady. I turned to leave but before I could, she grabbed my wrist. "What was that thing?" she asked more shakily.

I looked at her hand and shook it off, "We won't stay long enough for us to tell you, we won't get in your way. So I hope you won't get in ours" I left the room and saw Carla making food to eat, "We just need to survive a day of traveling with them and we can leave" I chanted that and it made me motivated. I wasn't planning to stay here at all, after all, I was a Fairytale wizard and that's all I needed...

So yes I added Wendy, but if you read above it's just to get the plot moving after the next chapter she won't appear anymore unless you want to. Sorry if I took so long to publish this I was supposed to publish this Monday but many things came up. I hope you enjoyed this chapter! Anyways...
