The Deku: The Angel of the Quirkless

Chapter 4: Your Quirks

Nobody knew what to expect from this scenario. But this outcome, although very probable, still caught the group off guard.

It was during the night when they left the shelter of their abandoned building and trekked through the city streets to the Nighteye Hero Agency.

Lemillion had given Izuku and his team instructions to come at 10 at night to this very place.

It appeared like any ordinary office building, besides the agency's name in the front.

But it was when Izuku decided to knock on the front entrance door that things got...unexpected.

The doors opened up quickly, practically throwing Izuku inside.

"Deku!" Expandee and the others ran inside after him.

Immediately they were all restrained by a series of what appeared to be segments to some kind of arthropod with hundreds of small legs.

In the other end of this front room stood a tall figure in a tuxedo but with the head of a centipede, holding his arms out. And from where his hands should have been where the ends of those segments connected.

"None of you move a muscle or I'll squeeze my grip and have Lemillion slam your guts." He threatened with a surprisingly high-pitched voice.

Sora and Miu giggled silently to themselves.

"Something funny?" The centipede hero asked.

"Maybe..." Sora said.

"Your voice is not what we expected." Miu smiled.

"That's true. It is humorous."

Before Maindo or any of them act, they turned to see in dim light of the room behind the hero, another hero. Tall and also wearing a nice grey suit, with green hair with yellow streaks, and yellow eyes.

"Welcome to my agency, Deku, and his team. My name is Sir Nighteye." He said.

Nighteye, of course! That name buzzed in Izuku's mind before until he realized that Sir Nighteye was once the only sidekick All Might ever took in. His love of the great hero was not as strong as it used to be after his first and last encounter with the Symbol of Peace in person, but his fanboy interests came back for a moment.

Lemillion and an older girl with blue skin and a small hero costume were standing with the other two.

"This is Centipeder, he's the one I asked to keep a special eye on you while we talk." Sir introduced the heroes for them. "This is Bubble Girl, one of my sidekicks, and Lemillion, UA student working a hero study with me."

"Can your Centipeder partner let us go?" Izuku asked.

"First, explain to me your Quirks. Then, I will answer your questions. But I will tell you one thing." Sir said. "You're safe here. For now. The police do not know about this meeting."

Izuku turned behind him to his group and nodded for them to explain themselves.

Sora and Miu went first. "We share a Quirk. If we are connected physically, whether by skin or clothe or rope, we can combine and channel each other's strength and become a double-fighting machine." They took turns explaining.

Hachi lifted her head. "I don't want to share what I can do with you but..." She looked at Izuku before sighing heavily. "My Quirk is called Beast. I can turn myself or someone else into a monstrous form for a short time."

Izuku smiled at her, proud of her Quirk whether she was proud herself or not. What mattered was what she used it for, and to him, it was justice.

Sir then turned to Crumble-Ton, still wrapped up in Centipeder's segment restraints.
