Omkara was so much in guilt. He knew his mistakes are not any small mistakes they are sins, big sins. He felt bad remembering how he left Gauri there to in hands of Kali. He had a very strong feeling towards Gauri that was the reason his anger was more stronger too.

But in his own pain he shut the all options of her being innocent and took the decision from head.

But his heart was always aching with a sight of her tears. Whenever he hurted her he felt guilty beyond he can justify to his ownself.

Now finally he is more than guilty but for the first time he have strength too. He knows he needs to protect her give her all the happiness which she deserves. He can't seat on his on darkness, he had always feared from that after this big sin he knew darkness will come once again to pull him. This time he knew he has someone to protect him.
