Our story picked up right where we left off. Serena and Ash were engaged in a battle against a totem Aquanid and were able to take it down thanks to Pikachu's 10,000 bolt thunderbolt attack. And a group of Team Skull grunts were planning something devious. But what is it? This episode will tell you.
We join the gang at the HaeHae Pokemon center, eating an enormous breakfast. There were plenty of foods to choose from, including bacon, eggs, sausage, yogurt with granola, waffles, pancakes, home fries, toast with butter, medium rare steak, and an assortment of beverages including coffee, milk and orange juice. Ash, being an avid food lover, pretty much ate everything offered to him. He even tried the tomato berry ground-beef and cheese omelett, which is one of the spiciest omelettes ever made.
Once everyone finished breakfast, Prof. Kukui gathered everyone around.
Prof. Kukui: Alright everyone, today we're going to visit Wela Volcano.
Ash: Cool! What's Wela Volcano?
Kiawe: Wela Volcano is a large volcano native to Akala island. It is said that the land surrounding the volcano is always fertile, meaning any Pokemon living near it live strong healthy lives. I have a farm near there and the Pokemon who live there are as healthy as can be.
Prof. Kukui: That's right. Akala Islands Gaurdian Tapu Lele always keeps us safe and healthy. Her Scales are believed to restore good health on the spot.
Serena: That's wonderful!!!!!!!!
Lana: It is! That's exactly why we worship her.
Ash: So, who's the Kahuna of Akala island?
Kiawe: Her Name is Olivia. I battled her in my first grand trial in order to inherit my grandfathers Z-Ring and Z-Crystal.
Ash: Why would you do that?
Kiawe: It's alolan tradition. Especially since my Grandfather was Akala Islands Kahuna before Olivia.
Ash: No way!!!!!!!
Serena: That's so cool!!
Kiawe: It's nothing. I just want to be a powerful Fire type Pokemon trainer like him, so the first step is to effectively use Z-Moves in battle.
Suddenly a large explosion erupted from somewhere in Akala Island.
Ash: What was that?!?!?!
Prof. Kukui: I don't know! Go to the Pokemon Center, I'll be right back!
Everyone did just that and Prof. Kukui ran to the source of the blast. When he arrived, he was in for a shock!
Prof. Kukui: By the Gaurdians!!!!!!!!!
Soon Officer Jenny arrived on the scene. What she saw, was most horrific.
Meanwhile the gang was in the Pokemon center talking about the recent explosion. There were a lot of theories on the matter, and none of them are good.
Mallow: Maybe a careless worker accidentally set off a bomb.
Lillie: Maybe its a terrorist bomb!!!!!!!
Ash: Alright, everyone calm down!
Mallow: Calm down?!?!!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!!? Akala Island is becoming vulnerable to attack!!!!!
Ash: Look, I don't know what happened, but I assure you all that Alola is safe.
Serena: What about Team Skull?
Ash: I doubt Team Skull would ever try to commit cold blooded murder or any similar crimes.
Kiawe: Well they have done many horrible things in the past, including bullying Pokemon, selling drugs and trying to sabotage the trial sites.
