I opened my eyes to see a white ceiling, then it hit me, I was in the hospital after I was almost dying, kidnapped, starved and cut. I sat up and pressed the button to call the nurse, soon a nurse came in "ah Danielle, good to see that you're awake" she said "please call me Dani, what time is it?" I asked "its 3:30 am, since it's so late your family have gone home except one named Lauren, I think, would you like her to come in?" She asked me "yes please" I said, the nurse went out of the room and soon Lauren came in "hi" I said "hi, how are you feeling?" She asked "a little tired, but fine" I answered "you scared me, you really did" she said and I looked down, tears threatening to spill, I looked up again.

I tried to speak, but nothing came out. I looked down again and shook my head "it's alright Dan, you don't need to if you don't want to" Lauren told me. I just nodded still not looking up "is there anything you want or need?" She asked me. I nodded "what is it?" Lauren asked, I moved over to one side of the bed "do you want me to lay there with you?" "Y-yes pl-please" I said. she nodded her head and climbed into the hospital bed with me, you know, just sisterly. I laid there just looking up with Lauren besides me, I took her hand in mine "you know I never meant this to happen to you guys" I say "for what to happen?" She asks "for you guys to go trough what you went trough, everything is my fault. and I just can't live with that" I say, I just feel so bad for them. "Danielle! don't say that, nothing's your fault. It was that stupid ex-boyfriend of yours that didn't have respect for you. He's the one who caused this, not you!" Lauren tells me firmly "But what if I had done something wrong and I didn't know about it? What if it was my fault that he did this!? Why didn't he do that before?" I said frantically.

I mean it's a year since I broke up with him, why wouldn't he do this earlier? "Dani all I can say is that this isn't your fault" Lauren told me. Lauren looked into my eyes and I looked into hers, my eyes started to water again. I looked down and I felt tears running down my cheek, Lauren took her hand under my chin and lifted my face so I looked into her eyes again. 'why did this have to happen to them I shouldn't have been born at all, then nothing of this would've happened' I mumbled "Dani! don't say that! Both me and the rest of the family is happy that you were born and still is alive this day today" she said. I was about to open my mouth when Lauren placed a finger over my mouth telling me not to.

I noticed Lauren looked tired, she must've been up all night "Lauren, go to sleep. You need it" I say. Lauren looks at me scepticly "are you sure? I can stay up if you need me" she says. I shake my head and say "trust me, I'm fine. You need some sleep and it's almost morning" she nods her head and tries to sleep. After a few minutes I heard soft snores from her, I knew she needed it. I took my phone from the night stand by the bed, I opened it and went on Twitter. I haven't been on Twitter for a long time, I checked my timeline. There wasn't any hate actually, I wonder what happened.
