Chapter 1: sneaky

*Betty and Jughead are messaging each other*

Betty:
Hey Juggie

Jug:
Hey Betts, wyd?

Betty:
Missing you!😘

Jug:
I know Betts, I miss you too. Why can't I come over?

Betty:
My dad will hurt me if he finds out about you!

Jug:
Ok.

Bettys POV:
Betty heard her sister come up the stairs and knock on her bedroom door. She opened it and her sister yelled "did you steal my makeup you little snake?" Betty said "no I didn't why would I?" "Because, you are a selfish brat and you are jealous because you aren't as pretty as me!" Her sister said as she turned around and slammed the door.

Betty hoped her sister would tell their dad that she stole her makeup, Betty didn't want to be hit again. Betty got her phone and texted Jug again.

Betty:
Come to your window!

Jughead POV:
I got a message from Betty telling to go to my window, so I did. Our houses are next door, I looked over to her window to see her with tears rolling down her cheeks! "What's wrong" I mouthed. She shook her head side to side saying no. I let her know I loved her and then went to sleep.

Bettys POV:
I woke up early the next morning so I could sneak over to Jugs house. I've been doing this every now and then. I slowly crept down the stairs and when I got to the bottom I noticed my dad was asleep in the recliner. My heart dropped and I took a deep breathe. I went down the last 2 steps as quietly as I could but I wasn't quiet enough!

My dad jumped up from the recliner and instantly started at me. I jolted towards the door but before I could open it he grabbed my shoulders and quickly turned me around to face him. " Where are you going Betty?" He said in a deep mean voice. O-outside to the p-porch." I lied, he slapped me across my face forcing me to fall to the floor from the impact. "Don't you ever wake me up again you hear me!" I got up as quickly as possible and ran out the door.
