I laugh when I see the kid pushing buttons when I enter the cockpit again.
"Stop touching things." Mando said to the kid. I shake my head at Mando.
"He wants you to pay attention to him." I said to Mando when I sat down in my chair. I see the kid lean over to touch another button and the button he touched made the ship rattle. Mando quickly fixed it.
"Don't say a word." Mando said picking the kid up and putting him in his lap.
"I wasn't going to say anything." I said back to Mando laughing slightly. I see Mando look down at the map.
"Let's see. Sorgan. Looks like there's no star port, no industrial centers, no population density. Real backwater skug hole. Which means it's perfect for us. You ready to lay low and stretch your legs for a couple months, you little womp rat. Nobody's gonna find us here." Mando said looking down at the kid. I shake my head at Mando.
"Womp rat? Really? Be a little nicer to the kid." I said to Mando. Mando landed the ship.
"Listen. I'm gonna go out there and I'm gonna look around It shouldn't take too long." Mando said getting up and putting the kid in the chair. I start to stand up and put my hood but I didn't put my mask on. I began to walk out but stop when I hear Mando say.
"Now, don't touch anything. I'll find us some lodging then I'll come back for you. You stay right here. You stay. Don't move. You understand. Great." Mando said to the kid while pointing at him. I hear the kid grunt sounding like he disagreed with Mando.
"Why aren't we bring him?" I said to Mando walking behind him. When he walked out the cockpit.
"It's safer with him staying here until we get back." Mando said climbing the ladder. I climbed ladder after him.
"That doesn't make any sense." I said to Mando when I walk next to him at the entrance. Mando ignores me by pushing the button to the door. In a moment to my left and I look down and see the kid. He coos at us.
"I guess he disagree with you." I said laughing and walking down the ramp. I stop when I hear Mando sigh.
"Oh, what the hell? Come on." Mando said walking down the ramp and walking ahead of me. I smile down at the kid.
"I'm going to let you walk to stretch out your legs. Okay kid?" I said looking down at the kid. He cooed and walked off behind Mando. I followed after.
