It had been a week since we had started talking, it was nice to know about her, she was 13 at that time, the only child. Our conversations started to escalate, i grew eager for her texts, she was funny, she had a sharp mind. We started to give each other specific times so we could talk uninterruptedly we used to clear out our work for that designated time, i was a teen with a qwerty phone and those were more than enough and way ahead of that time in our lives, i was a keyboard warrior while she was a wordplay queen, i was amazed by the things she would come up with, it was crazy how she completed my sentences and gave them a different meaning altogether!
So these days the weather was sunny, bright and life was way too exhausting for me. I used to be lost in my own world and feeling like an outcast, it seemed so oxymoronic to me that i would try to find my escape, little was i aware that she was becoming a part of my escape from reality. We became used to texting each other good mornings and ending on good nights, while she was sleeping in her life, i was wide awake lost in my own musings. The days were changing as if someone was switching on and off the lights.
It was becoming my daily schedule to find an escape while she was eagerly waiting for our conversations, i was trying to supress my thoughts while i was becoming a part of her thoughts.
