Chapter 6-'The way I feel'

”Good morning” I heard behind my back as I closed the door at our my dorm room. I turned around seeing Andrea laying in her bed on her phone.

”Good morning” I said laying my heels on the floor.

”How was your night?” She asked sitting up and smirking. ”Didn’t get much sleep”.

”Was it with Jack?” She asked. ”No, in fact it was with a college boy named Nate” I said.”YOU SLEPT WITH A COLLEGE BOY ?” Andrea screamed and stood up. She ran over to me and gave me a hug. ”Andrea it’s not a big deal” I said laughing. We were interrupted by a knock on the door. Andrea pulled away and looked at me confused and so did i. We made our way to the door and opened. 

”Well good morning” Jenn said and walked in. ”Good morning” We both said in return. ”Well I’m gonna go and take a shower” I said and took all my bathing stuff

I walked down the hall carrying my stuff. I looked to left and right examine everything on the hall. I suddenly bumped into a hard chest. Dropping all of my stuff. “I’m sorry” I said putting a strand of hair behind my ear. I didn’t bother to look up, I bend down and picked up my stuff. “Here” The person said taking my shampoo bottle up. I stood up and looked at the person. Nate. “Oh hey” I said feeling my cheeks heat. “I guess you like bumping into my chest” he said laughing handing out the shampoo bottle. “Well it’s a weird habit of mine” I answered sarcastically and taking the shampoo bottle. We stood there for couple seconds standing and looking around. “This is awkward” I finally spoke up. “Yeah I was going to say the same thing” he said laughing. “Especially because of last night” he said rubbing the back of his neck. I just let out a little laugh and looked down on my foot. “But since I met you here and I was going to ask you later today if you wanted to do something tonight?” He asked. “Just a walk around campus or something like that” he added. “Sounds good” I said. “Well I will get you around 8pm?”. “See you then” I said and kept walking to the bathroom. I turned on the shower and got in. Thank god nobody was in here. The last thing I would want was to meet someone here. I was finally done and headed back to my dorm room. I walked with a towel wrapped around my hair and in a rope. I opened the door and saw Andrea,Jenn,Aden and Gilinsky. Gilinsky was leaning against the wall behind the door. I looked at him and saw him smirking. “What took you so long?” Andrea asked. “Oh I met someone out on the hallway” I said placing my shower essentials on a table. “Nate?” Andrea asked raising a eyebrow. “Who is Nate?” Jenn asked looking at me and Andrea. “A college guy Berh slept with” she said. “ANDREA” I said loudly and looked at Aden then Gilinsky. “We did not need to know that” Aden said laughing. I walked to my closet and picked out some clothes. “So did you meet him?” Jenn asked. “Yes It was him” I said rolling my eyes. I sat down on my bed and picked up my phone. “Well we are gonna go and meet up with the guys” Aden said standing up from the floor. “See you later today” Andrea said as Aden and Jack walked out. I stood up and got dressed.

I felt something vibrate to my side and I opened my eyes but soon squeezing them shut again because of the brightness. I had fallen asleep after I got dressed. I made an seconds attempt to open my eyes and it was better. I slowly picked up my phone from the side and unlocked it. I saw a text from Jack.

Jack- hey can you meet me at the lobby?

I looked at the clock and read 4pm.

To Jack- be there in 2 minutes.

I got up and made my way to the lobby. I saw Jack sitting on a bench out side the door. I got out and sat down beside him. He looked at me and looked again straight forward. We sat there in silence and just stared. “I feel like i was just starting high school yesterday” Jack said. “Tell me about it” I said. Again there came a silence. “You want to do something tonight?” He asked. Nate. I have a date with Nate. “What do you have in mind?” I asked. “Just Netflix or something”. “Sure but I have stuff to do but after 9pm?” I asked. “Yeah, just come to my dorm when you can” he said smiling. “I will” I responded. I was starting to feel cold. “We’ll see you tonight then” I said standing up. “I’m looking forward to it” he said and I walked in. What was I getting myself into

. -skipping to the date with Nate-

I pulled an oversized hoodie over my head and pulled it down. I decided to wear something comfy since we were just going out for a walk. I sat down on my bed and waited. Few moments later I heard a knock on my door. I opened the door and saw Nate. “Your dorm was hard to find” he said. “I should have gave it to you” I said and closed the door.

We walked down to the lobby and outside. The cool and fresh air hit me and I shivered. He took my hand and locked them together. We started walking around the campus. “You are really cool girl” he finally spoke. “Well you are pretty nice” I said laying my head on his shoulder. “We actually look like a couple right now” he said chuckling. I quickly pulled my head of his shoulder. “Oh I’m sorry” I said looking down. “Don’t be, I like it” he said. I looked up and saw him smiling at me, I smiled back and laid my head back on his shoulder. We walked in silence but it was not awkward it was good. We made small talk now and then but that was mostly it. Before I knew we were back at the building. “Well this was fun” he said letting go of my hand. “We should do it again sometime before you leave” he added. “I would love to”. “Well I will see you tomorrow” Nate said and gave me a kiss on the cheek. “Bye” I said after him.

I hurried to Jacks dorm room and knocked. He opened the door. He was wearing black sweatpants and grey hoodie but somehow he still manage to look good. “Hey” he said awkwardly and sat down on his bed. He pulled the covers up and patted the space next to him for me to come sit. I smiled and sat down beside him. I pulled the covers up and he reached for his computer. We choose some movie. Half way through the movie,I knew neither of us were paying attention to the movie. I was just watching the covers and he was staring at the computer keyboard. We both sighed and looked at each other. He looked at my lips then my eyes,lips,eyes. And I did the same. He started leaning in. He placed his hand on my jaw and stroke his thumb over my cheek. I felt his hot breath on my lips. I slowly put my hand around his neck and pulled him in. Our lips touched and sparks flew everywhere. It felt so right. I pulled away and stood up. “I have to go” I said. “No,stay. Lets cuddle and fall asleep” he said. The school player was asking me to cuddle and fall asleep with him. Maybe he wasn’t as bad as I thought. I smiled to him and he smiled back. I slit myself under the covers and cuddled to his chest. He shut his computer and made shapes on my back. Soon I felt my eyelids getting heavier and soon I was asleep.

~Jack’s pov~

I slowly made shapes in her back and I heard a light snore come from her mouth. She looked so peaceful. She looked beautiful. From this moment I knew that I was falling for her and nothing would change the way I feel about her
