Logan was in today. His face was bruised pretty badly. I managed to speak to him as well and apologise to him.
"Hey." I said quietly, as he came to sit next to me on the bus.
"Eh, hey." He smiled.
"Listen, I'm sorry I didn't stick up for you on Thursday, it's just, I just, ugh I just I-"
"Hey, it's okay." he assured me, "It's not your fault. If you had butted into that fight you would have probably been beaten worse than me."
I smiled at him not sure what to say next. The bus then arrived at school and we were all getting off. When I got off, Logan grabbed hold of my wrist and said "Em, by the way, could I come to lunch with you, it's just, you know, I have kind of no friends an-"
"Yeh. Yeh sure." I said a bit too eagerly.
He smiled then we walked to form group together.***************
After Physics, it was Lunch and to tell you the truth, I was absolutely starving! I could have literally eaten a horse! (Well, not literally but you know, it's a figure of speech).Me and Logan went to sit at mine, Lindsey's, Kate's and Eloise's usual table. As me and Logan were about to sit down, Eloise said jokingly, "Oooh, Jenny's on the pull." Her, Lindsey and Kate laughed.
"Cut it out guys. I said he could come to lunch with us because of what happened last week."
"Okay, okay," Eloise said with a smirk on her face. "I'm sorry."
Then, we kinda sat in silence for the rest of lunch.

When I got home, earlier today, at about 4, there was an envelope for me on the table.
"Hey, sweetie." My mum walked up to me, giving me a hug and a kiss on the forehead. "How was school?"
"Eh, it was great! Yeh, it was great." I exaggerated, a lot because school is never great - and I mean NEVER!"This came through the post for you." My mum said, picking up the envelope, handing it to me.
I examined it carefully, then began to slowly opening it.
Inside was a letter. It read:To Jenny,
I am extremely sorry that I did not wish you a happy birthday, last month. A lot has been going on in my life at the moment, and me and Izzy are no longer together, which means you could come and stay at mine more often. I hope you forgive me and appreciate the gift I have put inside this envelope, along with this letter.Love Always,
Dad xOkay, so my dad did remember my birthday. And yes, I do forgive him. After all he is my dad and has done a lot for me.
I look inside the envelope, only to find two tickets to go and see PANIC! AT THE DISCO!!!!
Oh my god, I love my dad so fucking much!!! Aaaarghhhh!!My mum looks at me, happily.
"If you want, you can take a friend with you. I mean you're 15 now, you don't need me there.""Really??!!" I ask excitedly.
"Yeh, I'm serious."
I laugh and then cry with happiness. I run upstairs to my room and start blasting their music.***********
I am extremely happy but I just don't know who to invite.
I mean, none of my friends really like them. Then a thought pops into my head. I could ask Logan? No, no way. I hardly know the boy and he might think I'm a creep. But the concerts next week! I could ask him. But what happens if he doesn't like them? What happens if he thinks I'm asking him out on some sort of date? He might think I love him! But I don't even know what love is, and neither does he.
What is love?
