[Dear Lucy,

I can't wait to have children with you.

Yours truly, Colton Smith.]

The corner of Lucy's mouth twitched by the end of the letter. Her once gentle look was replaced by a dark one and the temperature around her dropped to a freezing point.

Even some of her glass decorations around the room shattered. The books started shaking, almost falling out of their shelf's. The stuffed animals which all of them knew were only items without souls, felt fear. How that worked? The material inside was probably scared silly.

"Children you say?" Lucy muttered quietly for herself. Her hands were shaking and the paper in her hands were gripped tightly.

Lucy had been working with children for a long time in her past life and she was now only 12 years old in this body. The same should apply to her fiance. So why was it that a young man would send this to her knowing the serious consequences that this could lead to?

The Gabriel house was mighty and powerful. If it wanted to overthrow the current king and its noble family bloodline, then it could do so. This letter alone could be counted as sexual harassment even if it wasn't intended to. And could be enough of a reason for the Gabriel house to destroy the Smiths.

She stood up and threw the letter into the fire. She smiled a dangerous smile as she watched it burn. Of course she was kind... as long as no one stepped over her invisible line. But children should be spared.

"Children..." Lucy chuckled.

"Children shouldn't have a desire to make their own kind!" Lucy then clapped her hands gently and the previous maid stepped in.

The maid looked uncomfortable for a second as the temperature was very cold before and her bones felt a cold chill run through them as if a dangerous existence appeared.

But the moment she walked in to the oldest miss room, she felt like she had imagined everything. Obviously it was very warm in the room and the gentle miss made you feel very warm inside. Not to mention her miss's adorable side, she was so cute!

"Can you please carry the tray out? Thank you." Lucy said as she smiled her warmest and most innocent smile at the maid. The previous dangerous glint in her eyes were nowhere to be seen.

The maid nodded and exited the room with the tray in hand.

Lucy was then left alone in her room again. She decided to head to sleep, it was quite late after all.

------
At the Smith Household

Colton looked at his father while playing with a ball and swirling it around the air using his wind abilities. He had an aura of complete indifference with the hint of mischief as he sat on his chair.

"What did you write in that letter?" His father asked him, his eyes almost staring holes into Colton's head.

Seeing that his son had no intentions of answering Leon started pressuring him with his own powers. A young prodigy can't compare to an old genius 20+ years their senior after all.

Colton felt the sudden change in the room and finally stopped playing with the ball, forcing it into a wall. The ball was made out of glass, so it broke easily.

"Well why don't you guess?" Colton answered back. His red eyes looking into his fathers equally as red eyes.

"Guess?!" Leon scoffed. "If i wanted to guess, then I would've already guessed! Now tell me you brat, what did you write in that letter?!" Though his words were sharp, the affection of a father and his gentleness in his tone didn't change.

Colton thought about it for a second and it brought him back to yesterday when he wrote the letter.

He had been urged by the butler to write a letter to Miss Lucy. If it was any other servant, then they would be dealt with by his own hands in a quick and swift way. But this butler worked directly for his father and if the butler got killed by him, he would get a beating by his father.

Colton could only bite down and do as he said. Even if he was enraged, his face seemed rather calm and collected.

"Get out" He ordered as he was thinking about writing something down.

"This servant will do as the younger master says" The butler said as he walked out of the room and closing the door behind him.

Colton was thinking really deeply about what to write to his future wife. She seems like a delicate flower when my father talks about her. Then why don't i write something as delicate as her?

[Dear Lucy,] He started to write.

[You're as delicate as a baby's butt.] Colton shrugged his head when seeing this. It sounds too generic. So he got another paper and started to write "Dear Lucy," again while trying to find the right sentence to send.

[You're as soft as a pillow.]

[Your smile is as bright as the sun.]

[I can be the color to your pastel.]

[Your body shape is great.]

[Your powers are very unique, i like it.]

[You are...

And the list went on til his own table was covered with  mountains of papers he discarded. He finally settled with  [I can't wait to have children with you.].

He thought it sounded rather straightforward. But it didn't sound in any other way wrong to him. He was going to create a future with her after all and of course he looked forward to having his own children.

It wasn't all that weird about him thinking this way. The normal age where one gets a baby in this world was 16-18. A great bit lower than the modern worlds normal age. But the lifespan of these people were shorter, where dying at 50-60 was common. Due to the lifestyle of normal citizen's were much harsher. The medical field and the cleaning habits etc weren't as well developed.

Only the rich and powerful had the luxury to live past the age of 90 because of their use of magic. The strongest existences could live up to an astonishing age of 500 years old before breathing their last breath. This had been proved by Angelo Tweak, an old but stupidly powerful viscount back in the days. He had been 503 years old when he died. That was 200 years ago.

So Colton smiled at the letter he had wrote, stamped it with the seal of the Smith house and then sent it for the butler to deliver to the Gabriel Household.

Back to the present. Colton didn't think his letter was inappropriate at all, so he quickly told his father the context of it in order to not get beaten by his father.

Who would've guessed that the once calm Leon would suddenly be even in more rage than if Colton didn't tell him?

"You! YOU! COLTON!!!!" Leon glared angrily at his son. The pressure in the room immediately increased and Colton could feel how it had suddenly gotten harder to breathe.

"YOU AND ME ARE GOING TO THE GABRIEL HOUSEHOLD NOW! THIS. INSTANT!"
