Chapter 8: A stinky brat!

Lucy was strolling around the mansion with Alicia hand in hand when a commotion suddenly occurred outside.

"Aaah? Isn't that the Smith's?" Alicia said with hidden contempt in her eyes. She didn't like this Colton guy and his father that were trying to steal her Lucy! Stupid red-eyed blind fools!

"It seems so" Lucy looked out of the mansion window facing the main entrance. There were two men outside, one small and one big. She clapped her hands lightly and a maid suddenly appeared by her side.

"I'm sorry for bothering you Miss Leslie, but can you confirm who those outside are?" Lucy said before asking in a polite manner.

"Ah, you're not bothering me at all miss! It's this servants duty to serve you." The maid, Leslie, spoke with a bit of pride. Her eyes were pretty much shining as she looked at Lucy.

Alicia glared at the maid and coughed. This dumb maid! First those two demons and now this servant! Go go go! Go away!

The maid was immediately sent shivers down her spines when she met her youngest miss's eyes. She quickly looked back at Lucy and stammered "Y-yes those outside.. those outside the-they they they are from the Smith Household. The Lord of the household and the young master".

"So it was them, i wonder why they're here? Hmm. You're free to go now." Lucy said with a smile on her face.

The maid bowed down quickly before running off. She glanced back after running and creating some distance in-between them only to see something sharp in the young miss Alicia's hand. 

Is that a knife!?!? Why- Why does the young miss have a knife!??? AAAAH, she was going to kill me if i didn't go right then and there! The maid soon ran off with her forehead covered in cold sweat.

As the maid was running about in the mansion, Colton caught a glimpse of the frenzied maid. He still didn't know why he was brought here. 

Of course he got a scolding from his father, but he still didn't understand why it was wrong. Wasn't it just a rather straight-to-the-point letter? Why did it now turn into a case of sexual harassment?

Colton combed through his hair with his hand in silent frustration. He was not wearing the same indifference expression as he did in the mansion, but a gentle scholar-like smile. His eyes only reflecting knowledge and maturity. Though his brain... lacking in some parts of common sense.

"Stinky brat, come here!" Leon looked at his stupid son that stopped walking all of a sudden. He had informed David De Gabriel already about their arrival, so he was in a rather hurry to meet him. He didn't want to take too much of David's time, but this son of his! Always causing trouble one way or another!

"Yes, father." Colton said as he hurriedly ran to his father and walked beside him.

The Gabriel mansion was big, each room more grand and luxurious than the castle. Several times better than their household. Colton was first a bit shocked, but hid it the next second while admiring it instead.

"It is only normal for such a grand man to own such properties." Colton said. His voice contained a bit of pride and some disdain towards his father. This is what his father could've been, yet he decided to settle himself as a measly prime minister.

"Yes, Daniel De Gabriel is an excellent and very strong person. Someone worthy to look up to. But that still does not give you the right to look at me with those eyes, who do you think you are?" Leon shot a deadly glare at his son. Colton shifted his eyes away from his.

The butler looked at this pair of father and son with complex feelings. They were special, even quarreling so openly on someone else's property. "We're here Lord Smith and Young Master Smith"

Leon, who was about to give Colton another scolding, immediately took back the words that were going to be used against his son. He straightened his posture and nodded to the butler.

The butler nodded back in a polite orderly matter and then knocked on the door to the study. "Sir, the smith's have arrived" the butler said.

It turned completely silent after the butler spoke, but soon a loud and domineering voice was heard. He was only speaking, yet the sound waves were so powerful that Colton's young heart skipped a beat. Excited! Such a strong opponent is so close to him!

"You may come in" Daniel said. The doors were then opened by two butlers from the inside.

The father-son duo stepped inside and immediately felt the oppressive air of the powerful man in front of them. His blue hair was covering his eyes and the two couldn't make out what expression he was currently wearing. 

"So, Duke Leon. What has dragged you over to our humble household?" Daniel said, his hands still occupied with the papers in his hands. 

Leon didn't answer and just looked around the study. While Colton looked at Daniel with stars in his eyes. Daniel guessed the mood and finally looked up, he saw four red eyes looking at him. 

"Please sit down" Daniel said. He waved his hands and the butlers behind Daniel immediately moved forwards and brought a tray of snacks and some coffee. 

They both sat down, but didn't dare to touch the things on the table. It was very awkward and silent in the room til Leon nervously coughed before speaking. 

"I don't know if Duke Daniel have heard, but my son sent a letter to your daughter miss Lucy" he hesitated before continuing "Were you informed of the letters context?" 

Daniel looked at Leon, his gaze slightly confused but alert. "No, i haven't. Are you telling me that there was something important in that letter that i needed to hear about?" he asked. 

"Ah" Leon's face was suddenly rid of all the previous gloom "No no, nothing at all. I would've sent you a personal letter myself if that was the case. I just wanted to check something and as I've already done so, i will take my leave"

Leon hurriedly stood up and walked to the door, Colton following right beside him. 

"Wait" Daniel said. The two suddenly froze at the same time. 

I was really naive to think i could go now! Of course he would notice something was wrong! Leon cried inside.

"My daughter Lucy baked some cookies yesterday and she was going to send them to your household today. But you're already here so why don't you bring them back with you?" Daniel looked at Leon before looking at the hands of a butler on the side. 

He had five very petite looking boxes stacked on a tray and as he stepped forwards the sweet smell coming from the boxes assaulted the noses of the father-son duo.

They quickly left after the butler placed the cookies inside the carriage.

Alicia saw the whole thing go down with the help of a bird she created. The bird was made by Alicia's magic and therefore everything it could see and hear was also seen and heard by Alicia. 

She laughed in her room like a maniac. "I am better than everyone else!" she said out loud. "You" she summoned her mana and created a live version of Colton Smith. "You ugly demon-eyed freak do not deserve my sister! Only i am her match! Wait til i deal with you!!!". 

Alicia then created a holy sword and cut the magic version of Colton in half. The holy sword shot out lightening and hit every corner of the room. Due to the might of the holy sword, everything else in the room was also destroyed along the process. 

A maid saw that her young miss had destroyed her room for the fifth time this week and hurriedly went to elder miss Lucy's room.

"Miss Lucy! Young miss Alicia has destroyed her room again!" The maid said. 

Lucy sighed.
