Mario and Sonic headed to the fortress
I wonder who we are going to find here Mario seems to know his way but I'm not sure i can follow hmm I need to take that path i should tell mario
"Hey Mario you go that way i will meet you at the grand star location." Sonic told him
Mario nodded as Sonic and Mario ran through the fortress at different points running into each other
Finally Mario and Sonic made it to where the grand star was and just as Mario was about to grab it Bowser Jr moved it out of the way "Hehehehe Papa would be mad if i let you ruin the Moustahioed Man's hard work so my robot Doom Bringer will deal with you hehehe!"
A robot was able to grab Mario so it was up to Sonic to stop this robot and free Mario from the clutches of it. Sonic was able to do so with realative ease but inside the robot wasnt just a Grand Star but a Chaos Emerald as well.
Sonic and Mario ended up heading back to the Comet Observatory when they arrived Sonic went straight to Tails with the Chaos Emerald "A Chaos Emerald you found one!" Tails yelled and then Rosalina called over Sonic to tell him a Black Hedgehog was waiting for him by the Terrace Sonic went over to see Shadow which Shadow told him he can switch out if he ends up getting tired and then Sonic gave Shadow the Chaos Emerald.
