Chapter 6

It had been two weeks since the two had confessed to each other. They went on a few dates and things were going really well, so they decided it was about time to tell their friends they were together.

They walked to class holding hands, hiding their anxiety. They didn't know if people would accept them, but they knew that they would always have each other.

When they came in the doorway, the rest of the Bakusquad, as everyone called the group, turned to them.

"Kirishima, Bakugo, what's up? Did you do the English home...wor....." Kaminari started, but soon noticed the unusual physical contact between the two boys. Soon, the rest of the class turned and stared.

There was a silence that lasted a good six seconds before Ashido let out an ear-piercing screech of excitement, so that Bakugo had to temporarily turn down the volume on his hearing aids. He muttered "Jesus Christ, Pinky..."

Most of the class soon got up out of their seats to hug and congratulate them. Mineta continued to sit, muttering something like "It looks gay and that's bad...but Kirishima is basically a girl....but not a girl....but it's gay....IT'S GAY BUT IT'S NOT...."

Soon enough Bakugo was in front of him, looking really scary, and grinning. "It's called Schroedinger's Gay. Now why don't you stay out of it and NEVER even look at my Eijirou again, otherwise it'll take weeks to clean up all the little bits of you. Do I make myself clear?"

Mineta squeaked in response, then ran out of the room, to the delight of everyone else. Jirou even yelled "GAY RIGHTS!" out the door at him.

"Do your parents know about this, Kacchan?" Midoriya asked.

"...No....." came his reply. "They don't even know I'm gay."

"If your parents are homophobic you don't have to tell them." Todoroki added.

"I don't think they're homophobic. Although I think they've said before that they think being gay is a little unusual or weird. But I'm gonna tell them anyway."

Mr. Aizawa eventually walked in. "Hey. I support my queerlings but we need to get class started."

"Howbout this...Mom, Dad, I've been thinking about this for a long time, and I figured I should tell you that I'm gay."

The two boys were in Bakugo's dorm room, sitting on the bed.

Kirishima hesitated. "Doesn't sound very 'you'."

"Well, I can't just say, 'I'm a big fat f*ggot and there's nothing you motherfuckers can do about it.'" Bakugo replied, marking an X across scrawled text written on notebook paper.

"Why not? They'll be able to understand your language, at least." The redhead joked.

Bakugo replied with a chuckling scoff and lightheartedly muttered "Shut up."

"Okay, but seriously. Pick whatever you think is best for how you want to tell them. Adress them individually, tell them how long you've known or thought about it, but don't forget to mention me." Kirishima said with a wink at the end.

"Thanks." Bakugo smiled. "I think I'll just be blunt about it. Stand my ground. If they don't like it it's their problem."

"That's my Katsuki!" Kirishima replied enthusiastically, lightly punching his boyfriend on the shoulder.

"Another thing...." Bakugo said. "Would it be okay with you if you came with me? To tell them?"

"Of course. I'm always here to support you."

"Thanks."

Bakugo went to visit his parents a couple times a month. They made him do it so they could make sure he was okay and not kidnapped.

Bakugo texted his mom the day he was supposed to go home to visit.

Baku: I'm bringing a friend with me

Old Hag Bitch: You made a FRIEND?! :D

Baku: Shut the fuck up bitch

Old Hag Bitch: Bitch I'm just joking. I'm fine with it.

"She's okay with it." Bakugo said to Kirishima as they ate breakfast.

"Good. I didn't get my nice Crocs for nothin'," he joked in reply.

"Why do you even wear those? They're the ugliest wearable shit ever made."

"Hey, at least I'm not into Heelys."

"Heelys are fucking awesome, fight me bitch."

"Only if you want to~" he replied suavely.

Bakugo's cheeks and nose were a similar shade to his crimson eyes. "That's cheating and you know it."

"Then we'll agree to disagree." Bakugo scoffed at this, but then smiled slightly.

After finishing breakfast and walking for a while they arrived at Bakugo's childhood home.

As they arrived at the doorstep, Bakugo looked nervous. Kirishima squeezed his hand in reassurance.

The blond took a breath, and glanced to the redhead next to him. Kirishima gave a small smile. Bakugo seemed reassured, smiled back, and turned back and opened the door with his personal house key.

"Stop holding my hand, dork. Save that for the grand reveal." Bakugo whispered to Kirishima, who understood and, reluctantly, let go.

"I'm here!" Bakugo shouted in his usual aggressive tone.

"Hey Katsuki!" Bakugo's mother hugged him, and he was annoyed but went through with it.

"So who's your friend?" His father came in and asked.

"Eijirou Kirishima!" Kirishima replied enthusiastically.

"Oh yeah, you're the guy who helped rescue that Eri girl. Red Riot, right? You seem like a very good example." Mrs. Bakugo said.

"Thanks. I try to be." Kirishima shyly replied.

Meanwhile Bakugo was thinking, "She makes it sound like he's the pitcher."

"Well, I'll make some tea, make yourself at home." Mr. Bakugo said as he went into the kitchen.

While he was making tea, Mrs. Bakugo, Regular Bakugo, and Kirishima sat in the living room talking about the boys' hero studies.

Eventually Mr. Bakugo sat with them, and they drank their hot tea. Bakugo's parents sat on one couch, the two boys on the loveseat across from them. (SyMbOLisM)

"So....I think I should just get to the point." Bakugo said once he got the opportunity. He hid his anxiety as he prepared for the worst.

"I've been thinking a lot about this over the past few months. I know it might disappoint you but this is part of who I am and I want you to know this. If you don't like it that's a you problem. But here it is...."

There was moment of silence.

"...I'm really fuckin' gay."
