Zeta, will you believe her when
she says I'm tired.
I'm tired of smiling, replying

is that fine with you
Nodding to others, trying to fit in
While her heart is crying,
trying to hold up her heart sings herself to sleep
each day, hoping
tomorrow will be better.
But it is not, it's not any better
She realises that
And her heart breaks all over again.
Maybe it is her,
who is on the wrong end,
avoiding the extremes
Neither too happy, sad,
Too angry, too disappointed
Maybe that's what makes people
walk all over her.
 

Zeta, you might wonder
Why not take the reins,
why give into it
Well seeing them happy makes her calm
There is peace all around
World is beautiful again,
blooming smiles, warm hearts,
satisfaction
All at the expense of herself
And, she is okay with it.
