Adrien had requested to see his father and was granted the permission to see him. Nathile and Gabriel walked into Adrien's room to find him playing the piano. When they walked in Adrien smiled at them...Gabe didn't smile back but Nathile secretly did. That made Adrien smile as Nathile always showed him that bit of affection that he needed every now and then. He noticed that Nathile had worn something more business casual that day and couldn't help but notice how relaxed she looked in her outfit.

G why did you request to see me, Adrien?A well, Father

G why did you request to see me, Adrien?
A well, Father...a few days ago you said that you would like to see my piano progress...and I knew that you had the afternoon off today so I thought that since you never have any free time...I could show you now?
G alright go ahead.
Then he started playing 'Fur Elise' by Beethoven. After a few minutes he was finished and said
A I actually finally finished learning the 'midnight walz' but I would like to do a duet, father.
G no, Adrien...I am not playing the piano with you.
A oh okay...sorry for asking.
N I'll play it with you, Adrien.
A really?
N yes...why not...I love music especially piano.
G you have work to do, Nathile.
N actually I still have five minutes left of my break, sir. *sits down next to Adrien on the piano stool* *looks at him* ready?
A yep.
Then the two of then started to play and Gabriel was absolutely shocked that first of all his assistant had denied to do what he asked of her and that she could play the piano so skillfully with Adrien.

He watched for the first time, in a year or two, his son smile for real. He could always tell when he was fake smiling for pictures or something. But that? That was a real smile. He placed his eyes on his assistant to see her smiling as well. He hadn't seen her smile like that since...ever. She has a beautiful smile he thought. The two of them really looked like mother and son...they looked as if they had forgotten all about Gabriel and were just focused on each other and the music. He couldn't help but feel...bad. He knew he should try to be a better father but he couldn't help it...he was so much like her...Emelie. The same Emelie who he wanted to bring back...or so he thought. He didn't know anymore he always knew that even when she was alive the two of them were to busy to look after him...but Nathile? Nathile had been there for Adrien since he was four. He knew Adrien felt as if she was his mother.
A er? Father?
He heard as he was pulled out of his spiral of thoughts. He looked at the two of them. And saw Adrien hugging Nathile tightly.
A thank you, Nathile for playing with me.
N no problem, Adrien...whenever you need something I'm here for you. *smiles*
A thank you. *buries face in her chest*
N are you okay, Adrien?
A yeah...it's just no one ever plays the piano with me...but I remember you playing for me when I was younger and sometimes you sang me to sleep.
N yes when you were younger I did lots of thing for you. You even made me this bracelet when you were six. I've worn it ever since.
A really?...I still wear my bracelet as well...
N,A they were matching *pulls up their sleeves*
And there they were their matching bracelets Nathile's was mostly black with red hearts. And Adrien's was was mostly white with red hearts.
