53: DETERMINATION AND DEPRESSION

In which a certain villain is surprised by his own actions.

[NAME] LET OUT AN UNGODLY SCREECH OF FEAR AS SHE TURNED AROUND TO SEE A 5'9 FOOT, 20-YEAR-OLD pedophile running after her, even if he was wearing a unicorn poop confetti face mask.

Of course, besides Dabi, there were also Toga and Shigaraki.

"Damn, I didn't know that many people wanted to vore my sexy ankles," [Name] said with pride.

"[NAAAME]! COME MAKE TIKTOKS WITH MEEE!" Toga called out, pouting.

[Name] saw the blonde girl's sad puppy dog eyes and slowed down, causing Todoroki, in turn, to slow as well, since the two were still holding hands.

"Aw, wait that actually sounds kinda ni-"

Toga then pulled out some handcuffs and a taser.

"ooHH NOPE NOT TODAY!" [Name] yelled, once again dashing after Todoroki.

Suddenly, Dabi appeared out of nowhere in front of the two teenagers, his sparkly, pink bathrobe (which said 'bridesmaid') fluttering in the wind. His palms burned with blue fire, illuminating the evil smirk on his face.

"Are those My Little Pony boxers?" Todoroki deadpanned.

"Uh... I borrowed them from Shigaraki." Dabi muttered, his blushing deeply.

"THIS MAN'S GOT TWILIGHT SPARKLE ON HIS PEEPEE!" [Name] choked.

Dabi glared at the [h/c] haired girl, and his eyes drifted downwards to Todoroki's and her hands connected. He grinned and sent a gust of blue fire between the two.

"DONT BURN MY MF WIG!" [Name] whined, as they dodged at the last second.

The two wanted to avoid engaging in combat, since Todoroki didn't have his license and [Name] would not be able to take all 3 alone. 

Todoroki quickly made a wall of ice to stall the villains, then ran down the street, dragging her into a quiet, dark, empty street that had a couple of bars and many red and blue LEDs lining the sides.

Todoroki pushed the girl up against the wall, covering her with his body tightly, as space in the shadowy alleyway was limited.

The world was silent, besides [Name]'s and Todoroki's attempts to calm their labored breathing and the soft humming of the LED lights.

Feeling his chest closely against hers, [Name] looked up at her monotonous friend's face.

His eyes were narrowed and protective, and he looked to the end of the street, alert. The LED's were illuminating his jawline and facial features, which [Name] had a good view of since he was taller than her.

Finally, as his breathing calmed down, he looked down at her with gorgeous, heterochromatic half-lidded eyes. [Name] blushed deeply and quickly looked away, as she was caught staring. As her eyes met his muscular chest, she suddenly became aware of how close the two really were.

The sound of footsteps echoed from a couple of blocks down the street.

[Name] widened her eyes with slightly panic. Todoroki felt her heartbeat speed up against his chest. He wasn't good at comforting people, but he took one of his hands and awkwardly put it on her shoulder as a sign of comfort, still staying deadly silent.

[Name] looked up at him once again quickly, and then tightly closed her eyes and buried her face in his chest, wrapping her arms around him slowly in a tight hug. She breathed in calmly, the scent of fresh arctic wind and jasmine calming her down immediately.
