Once Than and Ying were able to move, Sokka, Katara, Toph and I escorted them across the plains to Ba Sing Se's Outer Wall. As we neared the wall, we noticed Aang flying down to meet us.

"Aang, what are you doing here?" asked Katara, "I thought you were looking for Appa."

"I was, but something stopped me.  Something big," explained Aang.

When we arrived at the wall, Toph and Aang used earthbending to lift us up the wall. As we scaled the wall, we saw what Aang was talking about. We saw a giant, metal, Fire Nation drill, heading for the wall. Once we made it to the top, we helped Than and Ying onto the walkway.

"We made it to Ba Sing Se and we're still not safe," cried Ying, "No one is!"

"Little dramatic don't you think?" I thought.

"What are you people doing here?" asked an Earthbender guard, as he approached us, "Civilians aren't allowed on the wall!"

"I'm the Avatar," announced Aang, "Take me to whoever is in charge."

The earthbender guard showed us to the desk of the Outer Wall General, General Sung. He explained to the General that we were here to help. The General smiled, "It is an honor to welcome you to the Outer Wall, young Avatar, but your help is not needed."

"Not needed?" asked Aang.

"Not needed," smiled the General, "I have the situation under control. I assure you the Fire Nation cannot penetrate this wall. Many have tried to break through it, but none have succeeded."

"What about the Dragon of the West?" asked Toph, "He got in."

"He did," I thought, reminding myself of what happened after, "But his losses were great."

"Well... Uh, technically yes, but he was quickly expunged," said the General, "Nevertheless, that is why the city is named Ba Sing Se. It's the 'impenetrable city'. They don't call it Na Sing Se."

The General started to laugh at his joke, with us looking at him with confusion. The General returns to his serious position before explaining, "That means 'penetrable city'."

"Yeah, thanks for the tour, but we still got the drill problem," growled Toph.

"Not for long," assured the General as he looked down at the drill through a telescope, "To stop it, I've sent an elite platoon of earthbenders called the Terra Team."

"That's a good group name," said Sokka, "Very catchy."

Moments later, the General cowardly backed away in fear, "We're doomed!"

"I'm guessing the Terra Team didn't do very well," I said.

Sokka then grabbed the General and slapped him across the face, "Get a hold of yourself, man!"

"You're right. I'm sorry," apologized the General as he rubbed his cheek.

"Maybe you'd like the Avatar's help now?" asked Toph.

"Yes, please," The General begged as he bowed to Aang.

The General then leaves to go retrieve his wounded Terra Team, the rest of us examine the drill, trying to figure out what to do.

"The question is, how are we going to stop that thing?" asked Aang, before we all looked toward Sokka.

"Why are you all looking at me?" asked Sokka.

"You're the idea guy," explained Aang.

"So I'm the only one who can ever come up with a plan?" whined Sokka, "That's a lot of pressure."
