Moving On Chapter 6

RECAP

“Get up we’re here,” adam said shoving me, I must have been in a major zone out mode. I got up slowly out the car and realised we were at some park, it was actually beautiful, I mean unlike the ugly littered parks back home, this actually looked like a park. Perfect scene. I realised the sun was going down now, where on earth was he taking me. There was no point asking him,  Adam gripped my hand and dragged me slowly down and through the trees.

“If your planning on killing me adam, do it now , I don’t think anyones around.” I said joking. He laughed quietly and muttered the word, “douchebag” Under his breath.I scoffed loudly making sure he heard and carried on being dragged.  I could hear music getting louder, it was dark now. Hmmmm weird  stuff. Suddenly all went black, something warm covered my eyes.” Guess who?” A voice whispered, instantly sending shivers up my back .

I instantly recognized the sweet husky voice, although I hadn’t known it for long it was kinda hard to forget. But I couldn’t just say the name could i? That would be weird considering the fact I had only spoken to the guy like once? Pretending I didn’t know who it was I began struggling out of the firm yet soft grasp of Liam. “ Whoever you are , I suggest you get off me  because I warn you now, im highly trained in karate” i said in a sarcastic serious tone.  “ And if I don’t?”  Liam replied. “ You have been warned! Now let me go!” I shouted laughing struggingling to remove the hands from my eyes, “Only because of your Adams sis, il let you go.”

My sight finally returned and I turned around to see a very smug looking Liam smirking at me, his green eyes glistening mysteriously at me. He was looking at me deeply as if he was trying to work something out , crap was there something on my face or something?  His eyes were just mesmerising, in the faint like they glittered. His slightly tanned skin was absolutely flawless and oh his lips, I just wanted to kiss him….GAAH what on earth was I saying?  “You done Kaitlin?” Liam said looking at me grinning.  Omg he had noticed me staring, what is it with me doing that?! I need to stop. I felt my cheeks burning up ,oh no! “Yeah I am thanks, n-now wheres Adam , im sure he was right next to me?” I said trying to change the subject. Looking around I saw Adam was nowhere in sight.

“Hes with Stacy his girlfriend, come on we’re missing the fun,” Liam replied, he grabbed my hand and pulled me gently to the light . He was a stranger yet I felt safe with him, weird. I realised that we had come to a camp fire of some sort.  I looked around and saw teens all sat around the camp fire , some sat by the lake. And some couples around in the trees. It actually looked quite fun.  Music was being blared from a stereo echoing throughout the trees.  Coool!

I saw a few people look up from the fire and smiled at me and Liam, We sat down on a log and I looked around at all the unfamiliar faces around me while Liam talked to some guy beside him. He introduced me to a few of his friends , all guys I gave them a quick hello and joint in the conversation . They all seemed really friendly , which was good.

“ So how do you like it?” Liam asked

“Well its different I can tell you that for a fact, I mean is this an everyday thing with you guys,” I said, why was it so easy to talk to this guy now. Before, I couldn’t even look at him without dying inside.

“Its okay I guess…,” He said his smile slowly changing ,” and no just in the holidays we all come on  a Saturday, kinda a high school spot, always has been,”  I looked at him closely . “Something tells me this place isn’t all cracked up to what it looks like is it? “ I replied responding to his annoyed face. He smiled and laughed,” I actually just think I understood what you said then , and yeaah , I mean some people are okay . like the guys you just talked to but then you get-“
