"Who is it?" I yelled as i walked over to the door. "Oh, hi benny." I said when opening it. He smiled with a little wave, I furrowed My eyebrows. "Whats wrong?" I leaned against the door crossing my arms.
"Oh nothing Itsjust," he started, looking down at his feet smiling to himself. "Do you like me?". "What?" I laughed. "Yeah like uh,do you like me?" He placed his hands behind his head. I shuffled my hands a little confused by his question. "Of course i like you,your my best friend." "No," he said a bit annoyed throwing his hands. "Not like that, do you," he stopped for a bit walking closer. "Do you have a crush on me?" His Wordsthrew me off and i stepped back hitting my head onto the door. "Ouch." I laughed rubbing my head. "No, no i dont who told you that?" I said folding my arms once againtrying to sound convincing.
"Uh i dont know, rory?" He said making it sound like a question as he looked behind him. "Rory? I uh, is this some kind of joke?" I saidlookingaround my front yard waiting for the guys to pop out any second. "No no sorry, my fault for believing him my bad." He said raising his hands stepping back and turning around making his way out. A part of me felt relief, did I just dodge a bullet.
"Oh!" He said turning back to me and reaching inside his back pack. "Here, your diary." He said handing me my pink notebook. "I-i uh" i tried talking but nothing came out. "No worries,I didnt read it," he shrugged. I breathed out a long breath. "Well, not All of it, only the part about me." He said smirking and walking back out. "See ya." He waved.
