I'm gonna be frank; I am emotionally unstable these past few days. All things seem to challenge my patience level and I am no longer could withstand it. Trying to find the true nature, intent, function and its benefits of being angry or to be able to express your frustration properly, I am called to share all of it here. Patience is the border that separates the true nature of a human and its vileness that resulting in anger. Patience is a virtue while ignorance is bliss. This sentence meant that the value of being able to stay patient is hard time is better while ignorance meant foolishness has its ecstatic value.

Patience-Impatience-Anger

Patience could be defined as an ability to stay calm while waiting for the outcome that you need or desire. Whilst anger is a natural feeling of unwanted or irrational emotion that all of us experience from time to time. According to a psychologist, Sarah Schnitcker, patience comes in three forms: interpersonal patience, life hardship patience and daily hassles patience. While anger experts describe that emotion as a primary natural which has evolved as a way of surviving or protecting yourself from what considered wrong-doing.

I'll explain patience further here. Interpersonal patience is a situation where you are being patience with other people, their demands and their failings. An example is given, I was ordered to sleep early every single day by my parents, yet I'm failing to do so. Therefore, my parents are experiencing interpersonal patience with me by not bursting on me, not yet. Next is life hardship patience and the main keyword here is 'perseverance' to sum this one up. It is closely related to long term objective such as me a being a proper man and a son which I'm still improving on. The third one is daily hassles patience and this particular type of patience is challenging me head-on every day. Most of them are menial and trivial things such as preserving my self-discipline to write and post daily on Wattpad. :)

Anger could be our only ace when we couldn't handle the stress anymore. We are needed to express our frustration in some sort of way, either verbal or non-verbal. There are some common triggers of anger and they are rudeness, tiredness, injustice or being either physically or mentally unwell. These are signs that you are already irritated and on your way of being angry, being rude to others, trembling to shake on lips or hand, craving comfort food and sugar. Can anger make you ILL? When we are angry, our bodies release the hormones adrenaline and cortisol, the same hormones released when we encounter stress. As a result of these releases in hormones our blood pressure, pulse, body temperature, and breathing rate may increase, sometimes to potentially dangerous levels.

The benefits of staying patience are that you are likely viewed positively by the community that surrounds you. You'll likely be a better team worker, more focused and productive. Whilst we are angry, a natural chemical reaction is designed to give us an instant boost of energy and power and is often referred to as the 'fight or flight' reaction. This means that the body and mind prepare for a fight or for running away from danger. Therefore, anger management is so important for me, for us as we need to keep staying sane in this mad, mad world.
