She sitted in the car ready to go to the party.
"You look so nice"
"Well, can we talk about you?"
They laugh together.
"I didn't know you had a car" she said.
"I learned how to drive when I was 13: in San Francisco the residential streets are empty, and then who could bring the brothers to the beach? Obviously me, so my dad didn't think twice and put me behind the wheel."
"Amazing!"
"Yeah... Oh god look! Is that Mark's house?"
She turned and saw a beautiful house.
There were lots of disco lights outside the house and many people dancing by the pool.
"This is a party! It seems like San Francisco, were the streets are full of people who make fun"
"Hey there!" it was Mark.
"Hi Mark: what a beautiful house!" said Mady, shaking his hand.
"Hi!"
"Uhm, hi Mark"
"Do you wanna drink something? We have a lot of things"
"May can I have an alcoholic?"
"Yes Mady, and for you?"
She wasn't used to drink, but after all there was always a first time.
"Let me see what you have!" she said smiling.
"Good! Oh, this is Jennifer, this is Jake..."
He presented to them more than twenty people,and to more than twenty people they had to shake hands greeting.
"Here you are" he offered to the girls two drinks.
"Thank you" they said.
"My house is big, but outside you can dance: also in the inside but there are more people then outside. Anyway, you can ask me everything! Sorry, I have to go... I'll wait for you to dance!"he told her.
"Oh god he asked you to go dancing with him!" Mady was really happy, but she didn't know why.
Like: she didn't care about him, so why her friend did?
"Go!"
No one had ever invited her, and then she didn't want to deal with the kids right now.
