It was just another morning in the apartment that he shared with Bucky and well Sam was struggling to admit his feelings for him
"Good morning Sam" Bucky greeted entering the kitchen
"Morning Buck, you sleep well" Sam asked
"I mean I guess" Bucky shrugged
"That's good" Sam smiled at him
He wanted to say something so bad but he felt really shy and a bit nervouse

"Hey um Bucky" Sam asked
"Yeah" Bucky looked at him
"Can I talk to you about something" Sam asked him
"Sure, anything you need" Bucky nodded
"Its not something I need, its something I feel" Sam looked at his feet shyly
"Oh, ok then I'm all open ears" Bucky smiled at him
"Ok um well, I can't do this" Sam blushed
"Just try, I won't make fun of you" Bucky assured him

"Ok well I just wanted to tell you that I really love your smile and I think its the prettiest thing ever" Sam was blushing even more
"No one's ever told me that" Bucky looked away blushing but loving it
"And your voice is really quiet at time but there's a gentle softness to it and it makes me feel you know, it makes me feel like I'm home" Sam continued to try and tell Bucky his feelings

"Hey now that we're complementing each other I need to get something off my chest too" Bucky said
"Yeah sure" Sam said
Bucky had a crush on Sam and yes he was worried that he wouldn't like him back but it was worth a shot
"So your voice, I can hear it sometimes when I sleep and its like a comfort to me because before I felt alone and I just felt as if I didn't have anyone but you make me happy and safe which is something I've never felt in years" Bucky started to say
"So we really like each other's voice huh" Sam laughed a bit
"I guess but it's what makes me you know um" Bucky was struggling to find the words to say

"You just make my life a lot better, you always have a smile to greet me with and you always stay with me even if I don't want any company you always know how to make me feel safe and you're always in my heart, I always think about you" Bucky was saying before Sam blurted out
"I'm in love with you"
Bucky stayed silent for a while and at first he thought Sam was kidding but at the same time he believed him

"I'm just a little surprised" Bucky admitted
"You honestly have no idea how long I've been in love you, and I know you may not like me back but I just had to tell you" Sam told him
"I guess we're both in love with our best friends" Bucky laughed
"What do you mean" Sam looked confused
"It means that I'm in love with you too" Bucky confessed
"You feel the same way" Sam asked
"Yes I do" Bucky smiled softly at him

"Can I kiss you" Sam asked shyly
"You don't even have to ask" Bucky giggled until Sam kissed him
They kissed for a while until they stopped to catch some air
"I'm honestly so lucky to be in love with my best friend" Sam said
"Well that makes two of us" Bucky agreed
"You are my home" Sam grabbed Bucky's hands
"You're my home too" Bucky smiled
