As I reached the top of the stairs I let out a breath and pushed the doors open. The whole castle was now dark. All the ice wasn't blue like before but black. "Elias!!" I shouted. No reply. I moved closer to the stairs. "Elias!!" Still nothing. I started walking up the stairs. As I reached the top floor I saw Elias sitting in the floor. His head was in his knees. Was he crying?? "Elias??" I softly spoke stepping closer to him. He looked up. When he saw me he immediately jumped up and held his hands in front of him. I was right he had been crying. His eyes where thick and red. "Eva.. You shouldn't be here. Go back" I shook my head. I won't" I took a step closer. He backed away more. "I'm dangerous" he whispered  tears in his eyes. I shook my head "You aren't" he stared at me but didn't remove his hands. I stepped closer to him. "I don't want to hurt you" I was now 4 steps away from him. He looked scared beyond compare. I took a last step and hugged him close. "You won't" he was shocked for the first couple of seconds but then hugged me back. My shoulder started getting wet signaling he was crying again. I patted his back. "It's alright" I whispered. He pulled back a bit. "Aren't you afraid I hurt you?" He whispered. I shook my head. "No" he"hugged me again. We just stood there in the room for what felt like hours but I didn't care he needed this. After a couple of minutes he fully calmed down. He let go of me and sat on the floor. I followed his lead and sat down next to him. "Why did you come back" his voice sore from crying. "I couldn't leave you here all alone" I gave him a soft smile that he returned. After a long silence I spoke up again. "Its beautiful though" "What" "The castle, I have never seen anything like this" "I do" he whispered. "What?" "Nothing" he turned a bit red. Was he blushing?? We sat there again until he spoke up. "Are you cold?" I shook my head. "No it never bothered me" "h-how?" I turned to look at him. I smiled and held up my hands. "Look." I rubbed them both together. At first nothing happened until snow started falling from my hands. It fell into the cold ice floor. I stopped rubbing them and looked at Elias. He looked at me with wide eyes. "How did you?" "I think you know" I smiled at him and sat back against the wall. "How??" He took my hands in his. Not looking scared anymore. "My mom had magic and I guess it went to me" I said with a smile smile looking down. A strand of my blond hair fell into my face. He used his thumb to brush it behind my ear. "Thank you" "for what?" "Not giving up on me" "your sister didn't want to either" he leaned back against the wall. "I hurt her, I don't want to do it again." "When did you hurt her??" "When we were kids. I shot ice but missed the floor and hit her in her head." I squeezed his hand. "It wasn't your fault" he started getting closer to me but a loud bang shook us from our moment. Elias quickly stood up and helped me up to. "Hide" "I'm not leaving you" he smiled at me. "You won't, just hide from them" I nodded quickly and let go of his warm hand. I ran to one of the ice pillars and hid behind it. As I hid I noticed that the ice started turning yellow again. He was afraid. Elias backed away from the center. "We got him!" Shouted one of the guards. "No, please" the guard lifted up his crossbow and shot. Elias held his hands in front of him for defense but I was quicker. I put my hands on the ground and concentrated. A big ice wall jumped out of the ground and stopped the arrow. Elias opened his eyes again to see the arrow centimeters in front of his face. He looked in my direction for a second before backing away again. The guards advanced towards him. "Stay away" he shouted and created a ice spike in their direction. They jumped aside just in time. Time and time again until he got them cornered. He had one against the wall with ice while the other was being pushed out of the balcony. Hans and more guards ran into the room but stopped. He kept pushing them. "Elias don't!" I spoke up, stepping out of my spot. He looked at me and realized what he did and stopped. One of the guards  shot a arrow to him but Hans hit him making the arrow fly up. It hit the chandelier making it fall. Elias ran trying to avoid it but he wasn't fast enough. He collapsed on the ground. I ran to him and put his head in my lab. "Elias" he didn't wake up but he wasn't dead. One of the palace guards took the other guards as prisoners as Hans walked over to me. "Princes Eva I-" I didn't gave him a chance because I glared at him. "You don't do anything! You aren't King, Elias is, so don't try and make me do anything!" He signed and turned to the guards. "Take King Elias a prisoner and take Prices Eva to her horse." I was stroking Elias's hair as the guards pulled me of him. "No!!" I tried resisting but it was no use. They were with to many. They took me away from him and outside. One of the guards gave me a cloak which I put on. I then noticed that I lost my frying pan. Ugh my mum is going to kill me. The guards brought me to Mini and helped me up. They carried Elias to another horse and layer him on it. His wrists where bound with rope. I tried really hard to don't use my powers right now. I can't make mistakes, not right now. Hans stepped onto his horse and rode of. A guard was behind me as we rode of. Back to Arendell.
