--Yuri's POV--

I woke up feeling warmth surrounding me. My face was pressed into Otabek's chest. I thought that it was weird for him to still be in bed with me since he normally wakes up before I do. I pried myself from Otabek's arms, trying my best not to wake him. The alarm clock on my nightstand brightly showed that it was 5 AM. Neither of us ever woke up this early. I looked back at Otabek, seeing how peaceful my Alpha looks when he sleeps. A smile crept onto my face before I decided to go make breakfast for us. I walked out of the room, shutting the door quietly and made my way to the kitchen. Waffles were a must this morning.

When I finished making waffles, I put them onto plates. The whole kitchen smelt like a bakery or a cafe. I placed the plates onto the small kitchen table and I walked back into the bedroom. I stood in the doorway for a few seconds, admiring Otabek's handsomeness. Climbing back into bed, I flopped on top of him, trying to wake him up. This was effective and caused Otabek to stir. He turned onto his back, still asleep. I went and sat on his waist when he finally woke up.

Otabek looked up at me with his groggy charcoal eyes. He smiled and held my face with one of his hands, pulling me down for a quick peck.

"I made breakfast," I told him quietly.

He adjusted himself, sitting up, making me sit on his lap now. I trapped him in a hug. My hands felt up and down his bareback, feeling the muscles, while I put my head in the crook of his neck. He stood up --still holding me-- and walked out of the room. I didn't try to stand up, his hold was too addictive and he was so warm. We moved to the kitchen, Otabek sat me down on one of the chairs. I shivered as I felt his warmth leave me, I felt the cool air pricking at my exposed skin. He was about to go to the chair across from mine, but he kissed my head first, making my entire face turn red. I reached for the syrup in the middle of the table and doused my waffles in the sticky liquid.

When we finished eating, I grabbed both of our plates and went to the sink to clean them off. Otabek walked up behind me and wrapped his arms around me. I leaned into the chest slightly, feeling the warmth of his body against my own. After placing the plates and silverware in the drying rack, I turned around to give Otabek a peck on his lips. I walked back into my bedroom and got an outfit picked out for myself. After changing I continued my morning routine.

When I finished, I looked at the clock which showed it was 7:12 AM. I went to the living room and gave Otabek a quick kiss.

"I'm going to head out," I said while putting my shoes on.

Walking out of the apartment, I locked the door and headed down the steps. I saw Victor and strutted up to him, wanting to walk with him. We engaged in some mindless small talk, just like normal. My heart started to quicken and I got the same unnerving feeling I had last night as if I was being watched. I looked over my shoulder every now and then, just making sure I was safe, and eventually, I calmed down.

Victor unlocked the studio door as we headed inside. I was setting up for today's classes when I looked up at the window. A man was staring into the window, his palms were pressed against the glass. He looked familiar at the time. He had an undercut just like Otabek's, however, it wasn't as well kept. That could be said for everything about him. His clothes were disheveled and his tail was all tangled.

Then I remembered. He was at the studio not too long ago, when I tried talking to him he just turned and walked away.

I stood and walked toward the door. He didn't move an inch this time. I opened the door.

"Hi, can I help you with something?" I asked while I looked at him, tilting my head, and dropping one of my ears.

He just simply looked at me and said, "I'm here to see my kid."
