"Wow, it's so pretty out tonight!" I said smiling at the sunset. Chloe rolled her eyes lying down on the hood of the truck. "I guess so if you're the type of person that likes sunsets." She says. "Well, what's not to like? They're amazing!" She just gives me a do you really want an answer look. "Come on sunsets are just saying that there is a new day in this hell hole." She says sitting up not looking at me. She just looked at the town. "It's not that bad. There are good people here." I say putting my arm over her shoulder. "True but I still can see all the good in the people here." she laughed at me. "Wow, that's a bit cheesy." "It was not cheesy. It was the truth." I stuck my tongue out at her. She then did something unexpected. Chloe licked my tongue "C-Chloe with the heck!!" I said covering my face blushing like a madwoman.
She started to laugh and I punched her shoulder but not too hard. "I'm sorry you were just too cute. I had to do it." I hate when she does that and yes this wasn't the first time she had done that. "You're such a jerk," I say get off the truck. "We have to go now?" Chloe said with a slightly annoyed and sad look. "Yeah if I'm not home in the next hour my parents will lose it," i said pulling Chloe off the truck as well. "Why don't you be a normal teen and rebel against your parents?" i rolled my eyes at her. "Well I would if I was a normal teen." i looked back at the sunset one last time before next Friday night. "Okay let's go," she said getting in the driver's seat. I then got in the truck and we left the most beautiful view.
