(Hi, quick A/N! I edited all of the previous chapters and the 2 or 3 right before this one are a little different. I apologize for any inconvenience but as I was editing I realized that I didn't really depict the characters how I see them now and wanted to change the dynamics between Faerie and the others. I hope you enjoy this part! Also, I apologize for the Spanish. I am still learning and Google Translate is only so helpful. Please don't be afraid to correct me! I also don't know anything about Iceland so please be gentle.)

"¿Cuánto cuestan las manzanas?"

"Cuestan 0.83 £ por libra. ¿Quieres comprar?" Faerie looked up at the kind lady holding up the apples in front of her nose from beneath her hood. She thought for a moment before nodding with a smile.

"Sí, solamente una libra por favor. No tengo mucho dinero hoy. Lo siento, señora," she said quietly and the woman made a sound of protest, waving her hand. Faerie smiled slightly before pulling out the proper amount of money and handing it to the woman.

"No hay problema, chica. ¡Vuelves pronto! Eres demasiado flaca," the woman scolded lightly and Faerie huffed out a small laugh before taking four small apples, placing them gently in her tote bag, and walking away. She waved at the stout woman who waved back before she turned back to the next customer before her.

Faerie tugged her hood further up her head, weaving her way through busy people, locals and tourists alike. None of them spared her a second glance, which she was incredibly grateful for. She turned through several alleys, keeping her head down but eyes and ears open for any sign of trouble.

Following the events of the "Civil War", Steve took her and the rest of their little group of fugitives to Wakanda briefly, in which T'Challa allowed them to recuperate. She learned that Bucky had asked to be put into cryofreeze until Shuri and the other scientists at Wakanda could figure out what to do with his trigger words.

They were incredibly grateful for the chance to recover but it was soon apparent that they were overstaying their welcome. T'Challa never said it, but it was clear that their staying in Wakanda only put the king and his nation in danger.

So they split up.

Scott and Clint decided to go back home under the conditions of house arrest. They both missed their families greatly and after Tony had successfully gotten them off of the "floating-prison-because-they're-war-criminals" list, they took the first chance to return to their loved ones.

Steve, Sam, and Natasha decided to continue Avenger-ing. Only with many different conditions than both the original and new Avengers. They had fewer rules now, but also less tech and resources. Steve had insisted that he "didn't need the law" to help people.

Wanda initially joined the so-called "Rogue Avengers" but when she managed to get in contact with Vision, all bets were off the table. With Natasha's permission, she would disappear for days to weeks to months on end with the android and simply live.

Faerie decided that it would be best to distance herself from the others. After what had occurred in the Raft with Ross and Tony, which she only vaguely remembered, she realized that Demeter had wormed her way into Faerie's life much deeper than the younger goddess had expected.

Losing control like that, especially around the people that she had vowed to protect, would only have terrible consequences that she wasn't really willing to see.
