The next day we were supposed to train the campers and look around some more. The camp has barely changed in 200 years, but it was cool to see some upgrades and changes. Despite 200 years, the Poseidon cabin was still empty. There were no more Big 3 kids, surprising considering Zeus has always had trouble keeping in in his pants.
We made our way up to dinner after a long day of work. We could just eat all our meals in the cabin, we have a nice kitchen, but we agreed that we should eat dinners with the campers. With us having to wear our hood we need to try harder to gain their trust. It's always easier to trust when you see someone's face.
We found out earlier in the day that we would be eating with the immortal campers to discuss war strategy. A lot of the campers were immortal, I found, from when I was a camper. Annabeth, Nico, Will, Jason, Leo, Piper, Clarisse, Conner and Travis, Hazel, Frank, Reyna, and more.
We walked into the mess hall and bee-lined straight to the immortal table. We sat down, barely interrupting their conversation. I looked around at all the campers in the room, noticing their excitement.
"Why are the campers so excited?" I ask them.
Jason looked over from his conversation with Piper and Clarisse. "200 years ago, my sister, Thalia, made a wish given to her by our dad be that the gods spend time with their kids. She made sure they made true to the wish and ever since they come every Friday to be with their kids. The campers really enjoy it and so to the gods. It's actually really fun knowing your parents personally. The gods will be with us all day tomorrow and we all get pretty excited about it, especially since a few Romans come too."
"That's so cool! I wish my dad payed attention to me." Luke said a little to casually. "Jack is really lucky to have Chaos as a parent."
By now the whole table was listening in.
"What is it like? Having the most powerful being as a father?" Leo asked, no doubt asking the question on all of their minds.
I smiled, "it's okay I guess." I decided to not share to much. My father has a reputation to keep up with. "Things come with it like titles and status, but I was able to make sure I earned everything I got. It wasn't until i was 17 when I got people to call me by my name instead of 'your majesty' it's annoying really."
