IT WAS MONDAY, i was about to walk outside my house but not before i yell, "bye, love you!" to my mom.
but just after that, a knock is heard at the door.
i open it, to reveal shoto. "oh, hi shoto?"
"hey y/n. walk together?" i nod and grab my backpack by the door, heading out.
"so what's this about?" i ask him, really wondering. thats because, the last time him and i walked to school together was one of the last days in middle school.
"i have something i want to discuss with you." i look towards him as he walks beside me on the sidewalk. "don't be so formal," i laugh. "what's it about?"
it was weird, all of the sudden he wanted to talk. after friday, he didn't talk to me all weekend. when we said bye on friday, we both went separate ways home. saturday, he didn't even text me hi. sunday, i texted him goodmorning only to get a hey goodmorning, talk to you tmrw.
"it's something about momo." i raise my brows. "ooh, nicknames now?" something must've happened for shoto to feel that close to her.
"she had accepted my proposal for a date." he looked at me, i smiled, "that's cool!"
the sun had risen all the way up, making shoto's hair really pop out. he looked back to the front of us. "i wanted to thank you for encouraging me."
i fan the air, "it's nothing! i appreciate helping you."
i finally break my gaze from him and stare at my shoes while i walk. why did it hurt?
