'Falling Slowly'

Chapter 6 Date Night

Mondo anxiously waited for Chihiro to show up as he and Ishimaru sat outside of the dorms. Even though they were both disappointed about not being able to be just together Ishimaru was excited to see how Mondo acted around his friends. Plus Chihiro was always nice to him. The door to Chihiro's dorm opened, and they skipped out smile shining brightly. "Hey there guys!" Chihiro was wearing a cute casual outfit. (They all look like the title picture right now except for the ears lol.)  

Ishimaru quickly stood up fixing his outfit, and then nudged at Mondo who was spaced out on his phone.

"Oh! you ready to go bud?" Mondo stood up too. 

"Y-Yeah s-sorry for taking so long."       

"Don't worry. We were late too anyways since Mondo refuses to wear any other hairstyle than the one he always does.

"Well when I wear down I look like a creep." 

"If you cut it to a reasonable hairstyle then we wouldn't have this problem."

"Reasonable hairstyle?! My aippa (Mix between afro and pompador) is reasonable!" 

Ishimaru chuckled "It looks like you have corn on your head." 

"Says you porcupine!" 

They fight like an old married couple. Chihiro giggled to themselves for a moment as they watched the two bicker. They interrupted quickly "So what's the plan for today?" 

Mondo grinned "I actually came up with it this time. I thought we might go to Nara today. That's the park with all the deer you can feed." 

Chihiro clapped happily "I've always wanted to go there!" 

Ishimaru nodded. "I like deer too. Though i am worried about the amount of safety in that sort of place. Deer carry many different types of viruses and parasites and-"

"They have the Todaiji Temple and museum there" Mondo said matter of factly

"D-Did you say museum?" Ishimaru's eyes lit up.

"Jesus Ishi you're such a nerd."

"No i'm not! I-I just like knowledge. You know knowledge is one of the most important tools in the world." 

Mondo sighed and quickly wrapped his arm around Ishimaru's shoulder. "Come on let's go." 

Ishimaru immediately shut up his face dusted a light pink. He just nodded burying his face a little bit in his scarf.

Chihiro giggled to themselves and whispered "My OTP is working out hehehehe"

"What'd you say little bro?" Mondo said 

"N-Nothing! Let's go!" 

They quickly got on a bus to Nara. They all sat in the same seat Mondo at the window Ishimaru in the middle and Chihiro in the aisle. 

"It's r-really good to talk to you again Taka." 

"Yes it is." 

As the bus rode on Ishimaru and Chihiro spoke about their lives, and Mondo fell asleep. He rested his head on Ishimaru's shoulder and he blushed a bit. 

"Is he... asleep?" Chihiro whispered

"I-I believe he is."

Ishimaru lighty reached up and pet Mondo's head. Mondo cuddled up closer on his shoulder and smiled an actual smile. 

Chihiro's mouth dropped open as she stared at Mondo "Oh my god that is so cute." 

Ishimaru giggled lightly "He's so calm when he sleeps."
