Battling it Out

I was pretty hyped about dancing with Amber. Well dancing against her but still. I wanted to show off to her and prove myself, but that's when I realized how nervous I actually was. "Tao! What am I gonna do!?" I freaked at him. "Just be hot! You are always doing things, so just do more things!" I made a face at him. "You're specifics have given me the complete answer of what I should do." I sassed sarcastically. "So you're gonna battle with Amber, huh?" Jihyuk asked coming up behind me. I sighed. "Yes Jihyuk I am going to battle my highschool love and most likely make a fool of myself." I straight up admitted. "You never know...." Jihyuk disappeared being the suspicious male he usually was.

About fifteen minutes later, it was time. "Hey party people! Are you ready for the battle of the century!?" Jihyuk yelled standing on top of one rock flower pots. Everyone cheered except me. "Let's turn up the jams!" Jihyuk started blasting songs by a hip hop group called BTS. "On my right, we have our humanized llama, AMMMMMBBBBEEEER!" Amber stood proudly as if she had all the power in the world. This was becoming more and more nerve wracking. "And to my left, my precious little sunflower, SUUUUUMIIINNNNN!!!" I flashed a peace sign, awkwardly. "Don't be shy, hun." Amber winked and started our battle. She moved her body so fluidly to the raging hip hop song. It was as if she had no limits, but still had come type of organized control to herself. "You're turn." She lifted her head with pride. I started a little easy just feeling to beat, but then I hit it a bit harder. Keeping up my energy-filled vibe, I showed off my skills to Amber. She was not going to leave without seeing me pop, lock, and drop it, but also add in some killer moves. Our little crowd of friends ooed and awed as Amber and I went back and forth, not holding back anything. "Last time for both of you - Give it your ALL!" Jihyuk yelled. A dangerous smirk was plastered on Amber's face. This did not cause me any fear. Her next moves were robotic and tight, lacking any type of looseness or inaccuracy to every point she wanted to be at. It looked like a difficult thing to fight back to, but I pulled out something that no one knew I could do. I threw some hip hop moves, and right with the music, I did a back flip and landed on my feet to the final gunshot of the song. Being a bit cocky, I held out my arms like a champion. Everyone was blown away. No one was aware that anything like that could even occur without being in an alternate universe. Jihyuk turned off the music. "Okay guys...that was pretty freaking serious.." The joyful expression on Amber's face gave me confidence. "Who thinks this win goes to Amber?" There was noise from about a fourth of the boys. "Sumin?" The response was much stronger. "I am honored to say, that the winner of this dance battle, is none other than my awkward sister, SUMIN!!!" We all cheered and laughed, finding the situation rather amusing. Jihyuk turned the music back on and everyone just hung out. "Nice work! I saw that smile Amber was giving you! I think she's impressed." Complimented Chanyeol. "Hopefully she thought I was at least kinda cool!" Laughing, I adjusted my shoes. "That was a fun battle." Amber said with a smile. I cleared my throat. "There was definitely some skill and competition in that." She was making me feel comfortable. "Well, maybe I could teach you some cool tricks. But only if you're up to the challenge." I joked. "That's chill with me." Suddenly, Amber came closer to me and kissed my forehead. Afterwards, she left me to talk to my brother. I stood in awe trying to figure out why Amber had just kissed my forehead. "TAO!!!" I yelled.
