"It was just too good to be true."
Those words came out of my mouth several times. With each word spoken, a tear was let out. Crawling outside of me, like a holy surrender.
Was I okay? No, I wasn't... I never was and maybe I never will.
How could I trust in a complete stranger, thinking he would maybe like me. But that's what you get Georgia. Why can't I think before acting? It would save me from problems.
I just get attached to people so easily and quick I guess.
Maybe he could of been that one guy that changes my whole guy perspective.
But why..
The whole situation is messed up.
Although I admit, he did make me feel good. He made me feel like no other; despite his mood swings.
Something about him made me feel right.
He made me smile.
Luckily I recognized the street the restaurant was located in. It was about 15 blocks away from my house.
While I was walking, I noticed that someone in this black bmw was following me. Every street I crossed, he crossed. Every turn I made, he did also. And if I walked slow, he would lower his pace. I might as well rush toward my house.
I pulled up a taxi that was parked waiting for customers on the next street and got on it.
Still that black car was following me. I told the man to speed up a little not telling him exactly why, just that I was in a rush.
Few minutes later, the man noticed he was being followed. He told me to buckle up.
"I'm not sure if it's for you or for me, but I'll shake him off."
"They just can't get enough of this hot sauce can't they. " he then jokes. I laugh and throw a smile at him .
"You buckled up?" I nod.
He then looks in both mirrors to check for the car. It's still there.
He then assures that there is no target to hit in front if him. He grips on the steering wheel and speeds up a little.
The car goes along, making it's way beside us but keeping it's distance.
Then there was some traffic and the taxi driver just brushed, swirled and passed some cars to get rid of the follower.
Finally he got left behind and we turned making our way to my final destination.
"He just couldn't give up, could he.."
"It was weird" I said.
"Has this ever happened to you?"
"No sir, first time." I lied. I surely have been followed since that incident.
It was breezy, cold and silent. A perfect heartbreaking scenario.
I just observed, he finally noticed after a while, he rushed toward me but I was done... I ran away.
It was too fast, he was blind, he just wanted to catch up to me.
I couldnt stop running, until that sound of burning tires made me stop and look back.
No.. no.. no
I shook my head and the driver was looking back at me confused.
"This is where you told me to drop you off right?" I nod at noticing how fast we got here. My flashback was really quick.
