Immortal dogs

Rain -chapter 7

America watched as it rains quietly Brazil and Fiji are asleep on both sides of him he was keeping watch. America try's to recall the dream again but it was foggy.

Brazil didn't seem to even remember having a dream at all but he said it could be the fact he had lived a long time in his current body. He looks up at the sky and watched the stars twinkle and move in the sky.

He loved the sky why? He didn't know he just felt like it was a part of him. How was Canada reacting was he sad did he scream. He wished he knew he wished he was there.

Fiji blinks her eyes and woke up and glanced at Alfred and noted the far away look in his eyes they had lost America to his mind for the day or maybe.

" hey America why do we find them if we can't smell them?" Fiji's soft voice said waking Brazil  up. America tore his eyes away from the stars.

" we stay in the humans eyes get them to realize somethings up that we have been alive to long." He said coming up with ideas. " or we go to my country and wait?" He looks back at the stars. " or we don't find them and we find a place to stay" he offered " that way we won't have to deal with England" honestly to the other two that sounded nice.

" let's do the last one " Brazil said with a yawn. As he stretched his back and body. Fiji following his lead and stretching. America stands and gets out into the rain feeling it soak his fur. It felt nice a reminder he was alive.

The other two followed him as they started walking towards the road.  America couldn't help but think if he would ever hear Canada again and tugs at his heart.

At the world meeting in Germany

Canada sat in his chair he looks worse every meeting. It's been ten years since the dog which was later said to been America was ran over by a car. It made both Canada and Prussia cry no one knew until the next day when they all watched hero's body fade like a nations would. That sealed the deal and made them realize the missing country's where most likely dogs. England looked guilty every time he saw Canada and Prussia even France. France gave him hostile looks. Prussia was asleep his head on the table. Meetings weren't as crazy as they once where.

" I'm..... I'm sorry Canada " England said quietly catching a lot of people off guard. France then huffs.

" you should be " France said his eyes softened when he looked at the confused Canadian.

" what?" Canada said even Prussia was awake now he was catching on quickly.

" England what did you do" he said with a hint of hostility.

" I scared America" he said rubbing his hand up and down his right arm." He was scared of me"

" America has all the right too!" The France man said throwing his hands into the air." YOU shot him! You made his pain so much worse!"

"What?!?" Canada said again he knew of the whole England be the one to kill America. But made his pain worse? Prussia looked very upset.

" I am the reason America and the other are dogs" he said quietly " I didn't mean too the potion was a mistake I made. My boss learn about what it did and splash some of it on America. How it effected other I don't know. I guess the king hide it and someone found it and used it on the others" he said feeling so guilty at the fact that it was his fault. The other country emotions ranged from confused,very upset, sad etc. but the most angry in the group where France,Canada,Prussia, and surprisingly Portugal.

" you did that to my brother!" Canada screams in pain of losing his brother and the fact it was hidden from him. He spun to face France. " you knew didn't you!" He said in a very scary way. France stays quiet. Canada figures he was correct then stormed out of the meeting. That was only the start of the storm it was just rain now. But soon it would be thunder then lightning let's hope it doesn't become a tropical storm....
