America POV:
It's been a year since I chose to stay with Canada. Buddy has gotten a older you can tell easily. His once light brown fur held a tint of sliver. Is eyes were going blind as well. My fur and body never changes I have to watch as my friends and past owners get old and die. While I stay young and unchanged. How long have I been in this body now. I glanced up at the sky ah at least 400 moonrise. I noticed Canada watching me as I walked a head of him and buddy the too loud person was basically hopping next to him talking his ear off.

" hero come back!" Canada yelled at me. He calls me hero I don't really understand why but humans are weird. I turned around and slowly make my way to him and lazily look at him. Buddy huffed and whizzes

" I'm getting too old for this " he mumbled

" come on buddy your still young " I lazily bark. He rolls his eyes at me. Canada puts my leash on and walks into a park. Gross him and loud person were holding hands. I looked away watching as little humans ran around with each other. Oh no two little humans were running at me and buddy. I whined trying to get Canada's attention buddy glanced over and noticed the tiny humans because he stared to walk faster. We hated little humans with a passion they all was pulled my tail and fur or ears. Canada glanced back and stopped letting the little humans catch up. Come on we were so close to the other side of the park where the moving box was. After a minute of pure pain we made it to the moving box buddy great fully jumped into it. I looked up at Canada and glare.

" oh come on I know you can get in too the van just please get in!?!" He asked sarcastically. The loud man picks me up and holds me like he would hold a human pup.  I must of made a face because Canada was laughing so hard he was coughing. I mean this felt weird to be held this way but if it makes Canada laugh then it's okay. Maybe me and loud guy could get along. But I will forever call him loud guy. He placed me in the moving box and closed the door buddy was fast asleep on the seat. I glanced unhappily at the door before curling up to rest.

Two months later

Buddy was getting really sick. It worried me why did I do this to my self. Why do I get attached to other dogs and humans they all die. And leave me all alone. I frown as he gags and lays in pain. I was laying next to him trying to clam him down. Canada walks in with a grim expression. He was also crying he picked buddy up carefully and heads to the moving box. I race to get to the door I looked at him. His eyes met mine and he glanced away. And opened the door he blocked my way out. As I struggle to get out the door he shuts it in my face. I gasped as I ran to the window and scratched at it barking and beg for him to take me too. When the box left out of sight I glanced around the lager cabin it seemed so much bigger. I started to panic and run full speed at the window breaking the window as I fled into the forest not noticing how far I was going.
