Somewhere in Mexico
8:30 P.M.

Tyler DuCannan was an extraordinary man by any mesure that extraordinariness is measured. He grew up going on mission trips with his church, Eternal Light of the Holy Trinity, and volunteered regularly. By the age of 14 he had been covered on the news numerous times. He had earned awards for kindness, sportsmanship, and bravery by the time he entered high school. Tyler even rescued his neighbors kittens from trees from time to time.

So, no one was surprised when Tyler joined the military as soon as he turned 18. He was a highly recruited soccer player and was toward the top of his class, but he felt he had a duty to his country.

Raised an orphan most of his life, by the age of 12 he was taken in by a peculiar woman named Garrett Johannas. Garrett pushed him to be better, kinder, braver, than he ever was before. And she was his first taste of love and stability outside of his church. When he came home, back to Georgia, she took him in with open arms. Ms. Garrett, as everyone called her, trained Tyler to be a superhero. He excelled at this responsibility. His power to bend and weaponize metal was a deadly force. Tyler, like the rest of his siblings in The Incorruptibles, where trained to use their power from a young age, but also to keep them secret.

However, the fun of being a superhero wore off eventually and overtime his need for peace prevailled over his need for saving the world. After the only mother he'd ever known died he fled to Mexico leaving behind,The Incorruptibles, and the only family he knew.

Now he lived, mostly barefoot, in a hut in the forests of Mexico. His house was secluded, small, and sparsely decorated, but it was his slice of peace. For the first time in his life he was truly alone with his thoughts and feelings and he realized just how hurt he was. He was hurt about growing up an orphan, hurt by the people he killed, hurt by the passing of Ms. Garrett, and hurt by leaving his family, especially his sister Dola. They had always been the closest of the six sibling.

From the first time the two met he knew she was going to be a good friend, but she turned out to be an even better sister and partner. They told each other things no one else knew and were closer than anyone in the world. He regretted leaving her almost ten years prior, but he didn't want her to see him broken.

Tyler was fast asleep in his little house as a storm brewed outside. However, he was quickly awakened by the sound of a tree branch crashing into a window breaking it. He hurried to the kitchen to find glass, rain water, and a large tree branch in his house. As he picked up a piece of glass he caught a dark reflection from the door. He turned quickly to find a shadow at the door. Tyler quickly got to his feet and turned to the figure. Their features where destorted by the darkness of the night. But Tyler could tell that the figure wore a long coat.

"Who are you?" Tyler asked stepping forward.

"I am the Vindicator. But you can call me Death," the voice replied.

"For what reason do you have to kill me?" He asked calmly.

The shadow laughed and took a step forward just as the lightening struck and Tyler was able to make out a face that was familiar but couldn't be placed. "I'm sorry, you may not remember me Uncle Tyler. I've been told I've changed," the woman said taking another step forward into the light.

"Is that you L-," he began but was cut off my a knife to the chest.

"I said my name is the Vindicator," she said taking out the knife from his chest and leaving him on the floor to die. She went to the wall and began to carve 'Blood for Blood 2/6'. Then she walked over to Tyler's body and removed the ring incrusted with an 'I' from his ring finger before scaling the roof of Tyler's home. She whistled and a helicopter appeared in minutes and threw down a rope for her.
