Glass crunched under The Vindicators black boots as she walked into the diner. Sirens bellowed in the background. She only missed the commotion by mere seconds. She had sent Shane and Garanda to investigate this possible lead. However, she had a hunch the crew may have been at the home of Ms.Garrett. By the time her pager read the 911 Dola was gone.

The Vindicator found a badly beatin Shane on the ground. His face was bloody and scarred with small glass fragments showing inside his skin. His eye was already swollen and his hands were burned. Shane looked terrible and tried to get up quickly when he saw her walk in.

"L-," he couldn't finish his sentence. He began to cough up globs of blood. Shane was bleeding internally and needed medical treatment immediately.

"Dola did this?" She asked.

He was able to suppress his coughing. "Yeah. She is with Clayton and Arnoldo. She has two little girls one can throw fire the other...I don't know," he said. He couldn't see the girls power because Dola threw him into the diner and he could barely remember anything other than getting thrown around like a rag doll.

"Garnada?" She asked concerned.

"I think they took her," he smiled.

"I need to get to the hospital. We need to go." Shane said taking a step toward what once was the door.

The Vindicator threw a steak knife that penetrated Shane's heart. He fell over and died instantly. She let out a sigh or frustration. She removed the knife and whipped it down before stepping out of the broken window. She paused for a moment to look at the burning motel and the patrons that had gathered outside of it to watch it burn.

The fire truck roared past her and she disappeared into the night.

We had been in the safe house for an hour or so when Clayton awoke me from my nap. The number from the pager was to a pay phone  in front of a gas station in Georgia. Clayton and Arnoldo teleported there and found nothing on the security cameras around. They came home and stayed up all night trying to figure out the mystery. At 1:30 am I left them to get to bed.

"She's dead," he said as if it was an answer to a conversation we were in. I looked at him confused. "Yin is dead, a heartattack. I found her obituary she died a year ago. A year to the day of Tyler and Amelias murder," Clayton said. I didn't notice that Arnoldo beside him until he started speaking.

"I don't think it's a coincidence," he looked like a mad man.

"So...Li-Wei? You're trying to tell me Li-Wei is...is that what you're trying to say?" I asked confused.

"Yes," they both replied.

"Why? What did we ever do to her. I loved her, we all loved her," I said finally getting up to sit on the edge of the bed.

"I don't know. But she is someone who knows us all. That explains how she could get so close to Tyler. The note said Blood for Blood. Who else could it be. I'm surprised I didn't think of it sooner," Arnoldo was bursting with a childlike excitement at figuring out this puzzle.

"How old would she be now? 21?" Clayton asked the room.

"20. Her birthday is next month," I responded. "Well let's ask her friend in the living room," I said getting to my feet.

Scarlet was strapped to a chair in the living room being watched closely by a trigger happy Deliah and a disinterested Garrett. I pulled a chair in front of Deliah and Clayton and Arnoldo stood on either side of me.

"Deliah go to the back I made you guys something," I said. They looked at one another confused and Deliah ran to the back. Garrett rolled her eyes and followed behind her slowly. Once I was sure they weren't in ear shot I smiled at Scarlet.
