Lucy's POV
"Look at it Plue, we've finally made it to Fiore," I let out an content sigh as I looked down at my long time friend. Plue responded with an excited gasp as we continued to walk down a long dirt road. "The outdoor scenery is wonderful but I'm glad we'll get to go through a city. We need the supplies anyway." We continued to walk as the outdoors surrounded us with its life. The sound of birds chirping and the breeze shaking the trees was soothing on our long journey. Plue kept me company but he wasn't much of a talker. I just closed my eyes and enjoyed the sounds of life as we continued on our way.

"Woah, Look at it Plue! It's just like what I've read in my books!" I cry as I look at the city life around me. We've just stopped in the Kingdom of Magnolia. It's huge and the scenery makes it feel welcoming.
I settled my backpack on a nearby bench and pulled out a list of supplies that I need to gather. "Okay, so before we find a place to stay the night we need more food and spices for cooking, clothes, a new pair of boots, three bars of soap since someone dropped two in the river," I gave Plue an accusing glance as he shuffled around and replied with a flustered mumble. I chuckled at his cuteness and continued on reading the list, "and last but not least, candy." I finished with a satisfactory huff. Now you may be asking, why candy? Well that because Plue and I deserve a little something sweet when going on these long, tiring journeys.
I quickly put away the list and looked at Plue with motivation. "Now I trust that you can get the food and I'll get the clothes and soap. We'll meet back here in an hour. Ready?" I asked in anticipation. Plue nodded his head and ran off to find the nearest market. I chuckled once again and wandered off to find my own things.
After I found what I was looking for, I headed back to our spot to wait. A little while later I saw Plue's white figure waddle through the crowd. He seemed to have bought a whole basket of good looking treats. "Good job Plue!" I exclaimed as I patted him on the head. His shivering form lit up when receiving my praise. "Come on, let's go find a hotel to stay at for the night." After about ten minutes of wandering around the town we found a nice looking hotel by the canal.
When we entered the lobby I saw an olde looking woman behind a large desk. I approached her with a kind smile, and she returned it with a grimace. "Hello ma'am, I just need a room for the nigh-" I was cut off by her gruff voice "No pets allowed." She said with an intimidating glare.
"B-but it's only for the night, and Plue is very well behaved!" I argued with her desperation clear in my voice. "No pets allowed! And that's final!" She stayed looking annoyed. "Fine! We'll be on our way then." I glared at her the turned to Plue with a sorry look on my face. "Sorry Plue, I guess we'll just have to sleep in the forest tonight." I said in disappointment. We made our way out of the building and into the woods just by the hotel.
I was perfectly fine with sleeping in the woods. Sometimes on our adventures we wouldn't be lucky enough to find a town before nightfall and we'd have to camp out in the wilderness. It's quite a peaceful experience but the ground doesn't beat a nice warm bed. I quickly set up my sleeping bag and built a fire to keep us warm. I yawned and snuggled into the warmth of my sleeping bag while cuddled up with Plue in my arms. "Goodnight Plue." I said softly, he gave me a soft murmur in reply as we drifted off into a peaceful slumber.
