Charlie left at about 5 so I got ready to go for dinner around the Brooks house hold. I was waiting for my mum when she texted me saying to lock the door and come over. Now this should be awkward.

We were all eating dinner in silence when my mum decided to talk “So how’s that boyfriend of yours?” Oh my god did she have to? Beau Jai and Luke looked at me waiting for an answer. I shrugged and said “Not my boyfriend any more so not my problem.” Gina and my mother looked shocked. “Oh hunnie, I’m so sorry I didn’t know.” My mum looked genuinely sorry and upset for me. “It’s okay mum, he wasn’t worth it any way.” That was a lie. Gina tried to change the subject “So how’s school?” but all I could think about was Skip. He loved me, I loved him but I wouldn’t take him back. There are thousands of girls he could have so he would soon get over me.

2 month went by and I hadn’t even flirted with another boy. Charlie had slept with Luke, quite a number of times now and she was changing. She wore less makeup, she wouldn’t come out as much, and she wouldn’t even call other boys fit. So I mostly hung out with Jai. James was visiting family for a while and Beau was out with Skip. I hadn’t talked to him once.

“This is boringgggg” I moaned as the Jai tried to teach me how to play fifa. It was so hard! But it was funny watching him. Every time Jai lost against the game he would throw a fit because he was over competitive, but I just laughed at him. It was just like old times. “Anna?” I heard Gina call my name, “Yeah?” I called back. She walked into the boys room and stood at the door “Me and your mums going out tonight so you can stay here if you like, of you don’t want to your keys are on the kitchen table” “Okay thanks”

Once Gina and my mum left I turned to Jai, “Is Skip staying over here?” he shrugged, to engrossed in his game. “JAI!” he fell out of his chair onto the ground, I was in a fit of laughter at this. “What man Anna? I was winning!” I laughed more “Dude, no you weren’t.”, “But seriously is Skip staying over here tonight?” Jai took a while to answer “Erm more than likely, sorry Anna.” I nodded my head “It’s okay man, he’s your friend too.” I watched Jai play on fifa for a few more hours, laughing at him when he lost, then Beau walked in, followed by Skip. “Right, I’m going” I said to Jai, he nodded and said bye. “Bye Beau!” I shouted through to the living room. I walked into the kitchen to find Skip looking in the fridge for food. I ignored him and got my keys. “Annabelle, wait” erugh, what did he want. I turned round to face him, “what?” I asked. He walked closer to me, pulling me in to an embrace. God he was drunk. I could smell the drink on him he also had 2 suckeys on his neck. I pushed him away “What the fuck? Bye” I tried to leave through the patio door that led into the back garden but he grabbed my hand. “I’m sorry!” he shouted. No one came so I guessed that Beau had fallen asleep and Jai was yet again engrossed in his game. Luke was probably sleeping round Charlie’s. “No, your drunk.” I tried to leave again but his grip was too tight. “No Anna I really am sorry! Please give me one more chance. Please I’m begging you!”  I gave him a disgusted look, “You’re such a player! You come in drunk with two suckeys on your neck and say you want me back. It doesn’t work like that pal. You’ve actually got to show a girl she’s worth something.” I was really mad with him now. But I really wanted to kiss him. He noticed me staring at his lips and he kissed me. And stupidly I kissed him back. The kissing went on for a few minutes when Jai walked in. “Get off her Skip.” Skip didn’t stop kissing me, and I didn’t stop kissing him. “I said get off her!” Jai was mad, he knew how much Skip had hurt me and knew that if he asked I would take him back. “Fuck off Jai.” Skip pulled away for a second but then he pushed himself back onto me. He tried to lead me to the back room but Jai wasn’t having any of it. He punched him in the stomach so Skip punched him in the face. Then they both looked at me. Shit I didn’t realise I was crying. I ran out of their house and into my own, Skip following me “Anna I’m sorry” he called just before I entered my house. “No Daniel you’re not. You think you can get me back that easily? You left me when I said I loved you to then come back hours later when you’d already broken up with me? I’ve had enough of your shit!” he stepped closer to me. “I love you.”
