I really like Vanessa but I don't think Jack would approve of me dating her he's very protective.
Vanessa's pov
I wanted to get to know Shawn so I decided to talk to him.
V: hi Shawn
S: hi
V: um... so what should we talk about
S: can I ask you kind of a personal question
V: sure
S: why is Jack so protective
V: umm its kind of a long story
S: I have time I mean we are on a plane for five more hours
V: ok it all started when I started dating this guy his name is Jake first he was really sweet and nice to me and my brother but then he started to abuse me but I never told Jack but then one day we were at my house and Jack wasn't their so we were just watching a movie then he started touching me and he tried to rape but just when he was about to do that Jack got there and told Jake to leave.
S: oh my god I didn't know that happened I'm so sorry
V: it's ok you didn't know but if you don't mind I'm tired and need to sleep
S: you can sleep on my shoulder if you want
V: thanks I think I'll do that
So after me and Shawn had that conversation I fell asleep on his shoulder.
