A Hogwarts Reunion

The Reunion

The three families apparated into Hogsmeade since people still weren't allowed to apparate into Hogwarts. They could hear music already coming from the Great Hall. Hermione took a deep breath before walking in with the other families. They met Professor McGonagall at the entrance. "Welcome back," she said warmly. "The kids can be dropped off at the olds potion classroom," she continued. "Thank you," Luna replied with a smile.

The families went and dropped off their children at the old potions classroom before proceeding to the Great Hall. "I think that we should go in first and then you guys enter later," Draco said gesturing to himself, Blaise, Theo, and Pansy. "I agree," Hermione said while looking at Luna. She nodded in agreement. The former Slytherins entered the Great Hall first and everybody stared at them as the maneuvered around the tables. They found a vacant table in the middle of the room and took a seat. They talked amongst themselves for a couple of minutes before the doors of the Great Hall opened and in waltzed Hermione Granger and Luna Lovegood. Everybody gasped in shock as they stared at the duo. Looking around for their former best friends it wasn't hard to find them. Spotting the flaming red hair of Ginny Weasley the duo quickly made their way towards the pair who were in the middle of a conversation with Neville Longbottom and his wife Hannah Abott. With a quick tap on the shoulder they made their presence known to The Boy Who Lived and his amazing wife Ginny Potter. Harry looked up and gasped grabbing the attention of both Neville Longbottom and his wife Hannah Abott.  "Granger" Ginny said coldly. Confused at the tone of voice she was using Hermione looked hurt. "Luna," Ginny acknowledged. Luna looked at Ginny with confusion. "She has some nerve showing up here after what she did to my brother," Ginny said. Hermione let out a cold laugh. "And what exactly did your no good brother tell you?" Hermione asked. "DON'T TALK ABOUT MY BROTHER LIKE THAT!" Ginny bellowed. Hermione took a deep breath to calm herself before realizing the deadly silence that had enveloped the Great Hall. All eyes were on the former best friends including the eyes of her husband and best friends. "What did he tell you?" Hermione asked calmly. "He said that you cheated on him on your guys' anniversary," Ginny replied. "And you guys believed him?" Hermione asked hurt. "That's not what happened at all. On our anniversary I got home from work and noticed heels that I would dare not wear and clothes that were definitely not mine. I then walked upstairs to find him in our bed naked with another woman," Hermione revealed. Ginny spun around to see a guilty looking Ron Weasley and Lavender Brown. "Is this true?" Ginny asked the couple. She waited and got no response. "IS THIS TRUE?" Ginny yelled at them. "YES!" Ron yelled back looking them. "She just wasn't what I wanted anymore. She doesn't dress up for me, doesn't cook for me, and she even makes more money than me!" he exclaimed angrily. "SO YOU'RE TELLING ME THAT I'VE HATED MY BEST FREIND FOR YEARS BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT MAN ENOUGH?" Ginny screamed at her brother furiously. "YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF," Ginny said. She turned back to Hermione with tears in her eyes. "Please forgive me," she said. "I was clearly given false information," she said while glaring daggers at her brother. Hermione nodded in response and brought Ginny into a hug. Harry who had just watched the seen unfold stepped forward for a hug as well. "It's good to see you again Mione," he said. "I've missed you guys," she replied with a smile. The couples continued to catch up for while. Even Ron and Lavender engaged in a conversation with them. And by them I mean the  Potter's since the Longbottom's went to greet there other friends. Hermione and Luna were still ignoring him. "OOH is that a ring I see?" Ginny squealed. Taking Hermione's hand she admired the ruby heart cut ring with diamonds around it. "Yes it is," Hermione replied with a chuckle. "OOH I see you have one too," she said gesturing to beautiful emerald and diamond ring on Luna's finger. "Yes we're both married and have kids," Luna said. "Really?" Ginny asked slightly surprised. "What are their names?" she questioned. "I have a son and a daughter," Hermione said. "Scorpius Hyperion and Lyra Ginevra,"she continued purposely leaving out the last name. "I have two daughter's," Luna said with a smile. "Skylar Annabelle and Addison Ginevra," she continued. Ginny had tears pricking her eyes when she heard the names. "You named them after me?" she asked. The two girls nodded in response. "We named them after the person we would miss the most when we left," Luna said smiling at Ginny. "What about you? Do you have any kids?" Luna asked. Ginny nodded. "We have two sons James Sirius Potter and Albus Severus Potter. We also have a daughter Lily Luna Potter," she said. Before Luna could ask about why they named their daughter after her she was rudely interrupted. "So who's father?" Ron asked. The two exchanged nervous glances with each other. They took a quick glance around the Great Hall locking eyes with their husbands and giving them a slight nod. They two got up and started making their way over to their wives. Hermione and Luna turned back around to look at the two couples. They were about to respond when Blaise and Draco arrived. "What do you want Malfoy?" Ron sneered. "Nothing from you Weasel," he replied with a smirk. "I just came over to see my lovely wife, and my best mates wife," he continued. "Well she's not here. Besides the only person who would ever marry the lots of you is some skanky slut." Ron retorted. "Don't you dare talk about Hermione like that," Draco said deadly calm. "YOU MARRIED A DEATH EATER?" a red faced Ron exploded. Just like when Ginny made a scene all heads and eyes snapped to the Gryffindor's and Slytherins. "NOT JUST ANY DEATH EATER! YOU MARRIED DRACO BLOODY MALFOY!" he cried out. "HERMIONE THIS ISN'T JUST A DEATH EATER. THIS IS OUR SCHOOL BULLY. THE PERSON WHO CALLED YOU MUDBLOOD AND MADE OUR LIVES A LIVING HELL," Ron continued his rant. "Are you done?" Hermione asked raising a questioning eyebrow. Ron nodded. "Yes I did marry Draco Malfoy. He's changed. Him, Blaise, and Theo created a new life for themselves in the Muggle world. He's gotten over blood prejudice and everything that's happened in the past so you should try it to. They're honestly some of the best people I've met. And you would know that if you learned to forgive." Hermione huffed in annoyance. "But Hermione--," Ron tried to reason with her. "No buts. Whatever little say you had in my life went out the door when you cheated on me," Hermione said jabbing a finger in his chest. "I'm married with kids to the man I love," she said. "Get over yourself," she continued. "I'm assuming you married Blaise then?" Ginny interjected while looking at Luna. "Yes," she replied with a nod. "Well congratulations," Harry said to the two couples. "I'm glad you guys are happy," he continued."How are you so accepting of this?" Ron screeched. "Because they're happy Ron. Can't you see that?" Harry replied. "They're are best friends and since we missed so much of their lives because you lied to us the least we can do is be happy for them and rebuild the bridges you burned," Harry said bitterly. Ron glared at the couples before storming out of the Great Hall. Lavender following after her husband disappeared as well. "Will we get to meet your family?" Harry asked. "Of course!" Hermione exclaimed.

The rest of the night went off without a hitch after that. The parents talked and laughed with each other. They danced the night away. The Potter's accepted Hermione and Luna and their families. They also became acquaintances with the Nott family. After all the Nott family was best friends with the Malfoy's and Zabini's so they could at least try and get along with them. For Hermione and Luna's sake. The three couples became friends and the ones that had moved to the muggle world moved back to the Wizarding world. Fifteen years later the two witches that had disappeared returned, and they were here to stay.
