Act 8
Yin's POV (Written by angelic_Sharkgirl )
My nephew is quite a strange one indeed. I am unable to see his future, it’s just a hazy shadow. This is unusual for me. Normally I can see the future, many futures actually. Time is not a straight path as some people would believe. Every action a person makes determines the way their timeline goes. I often choose the timeline that provides favorable outcomes for the whole of the multiverse to prevent it from landing in catastrophe. Sometimes near catastrophes are necessary for the survival of the multiverse such as what happened eons ago with the splitting of the Original One, causing the birth of me and my brother Yang. He knew it would happen eventually due to an imbalance within himself.
Yang and I like staying separate. It feels better that way for us, more natural. Yang was able to have a big family, but I was not. I ordered my second in command to kidnap Shiro when he was just a baby over 500,000 years ago and raised him like my own child. He had gotten the powers of darkness from me, which is why I took him. I was very… messed up in the past. I would rather not get into it. I don't want to tell Paul about it. I don’t want him to know, but he will find out eventually and I dread the day he will find out, mostly because I don’t know how he will react to my horrible past actions.
But for now, all I can do is lead the timeline to a favorable future.
We went back to the dining area and saw that chaos had ensued… again. Such is the problem when you have a massive extended family. I already know it was the Mizuko twins, Mako and Marlin, once again fighting. The Secret Soldiers looked very confused while everyone else looked annoyed, except for Flora, that absolute saint of a goddess. She takes after her mother and grandmother.
“STOP!!!” I shouted in a commanding voice, startling everyone, especially Paul. I pat his head to reassure him. Mako and Marlin went back to their seats and just looked sheepish. Yang sighed.
“I leave for a few minutes and you two started arguing again,” he sighed.
“Sorry,” they replied in unison.
“Why did they start fighting?” Paul asked.
“Shiro stole some of Mako’s food and Mako blamed Marlin,” Ronin explained. Shiro started laughing a bit. I should've known Shrio would pull something like this. He was always mischievous. I gave him a stern look and he behaved himself for the rest of the evening.
Prince Crystal's POV
I yawned and covered my mouth as to not be disrespectful.
Yin, obviously noticed this.
"You must be exhausted. I'll accompany you to your room." He led me back upstairs, he was being awfully protective. I didn't mind though.
I rubbed my eyes a bit, trying to make the drowsiness go away until I made it to my room.
"Shiro told me what happened to you in your room today." He brought up the incident which has happened before the dinner.
"Oh! Yeah... Shiro saved me though." I smiled.
"Would it make you feel more comfortable for you to sleep in my palace?" He looked at me.
I thought about it for a moment. "I suppose it would make me sleep better." I moved some hair out of my face.
"Very well. Now you may latch onto my arm." He teased a bit.
"I'm not even going to comment on that." I grinned while holding onto his arm.
It was the usual teleportation experience, except this time it wasn't a flash of light, everything went pitch black momentarily.
When my eyes could focus on my surroundings, I noticed we were obviously in another palace, considering the fact that it was absolutely huge! It was also SPOTLESS like I could practically see everything shining.
Way more dark in here though.
"This is where you live?" I looked around in amazement.
"That's correct." He nodded walking upstairs, to which I immediately began following.
"Uncle Yin! Why do you have so many stairs?" I asked taking careful steps since it was so dark.
"Well, to reach the other floors of course." He replied.
"Why don't you just like... Use the shadows or something?" I suggested.
"The servants are mortals." He reached the top and began walking to the left corridor.
I started speed walking cause I was a little behind.
"Alright. You can stay in here." He stopped in front of a black door.
"Uh... Where's your room?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Right here." He stepped aside for me to see and there was a double door room which looked way more fancy.
"Why am I not surprised?" I clasped my hands behind my back.
The black door opened and the room was absolutely stunning! I didn't want to pick favorites but this one was a bit better.
"Well, I bid thee a goodnight!" I said dramatically bowing.
"A simple goodnight would suffice Paul." His eyes glinted a bit with amusement.
"I know, but, it's so ordinary!" I turned and closed the doors behind me after waving to him.
I went over to the bed and threw myself.
Wow! I can imagine the se- I mean the love mak- I MEAN SLEEPING on this bed!
It's so soft!! I feel like there's some sort of velvet on here.
"Oh my... I could sleep for days on this..." I mumbled and slipped off my glass slippers. I wrapped myself up in the covers and quickly fell into a deep sleep.

3:33 A.M
"I see you..." A voice whispered in my ear.
I turned and covered my head in the blanket.
"Come and find me..." It echoed in my head.
I opened my eyes suddenly and stood up straight.
What's happening right now? I feel like I'm awake but... I'm not controlling my body.
Maybe I am dreaming??
"Come here..." A soft whisper echoed and I slid off the bed, my robe trailing behind me in beautiful waves, almost glinting in the moonlight.
The door, no longer was black, but instead it was a bright red color.
"That's right, just a bit more..." The voice wouldn't stop talking to me. It's as if it didn't want to let me go.
I opened the door, on the other side was the bridge to the other worlds Uncle Yang had taken me to. A little red glowing orb of light guided me down the stairs to which Uncle Yin had proclaimed was not important.
Down into the darkness, there was a cell. An ominous looking one at that. There was a glowing black and white barrier around it, which I easily was able to pass.
"I have you now. Prince." A pair of glowing red eyes appeared from the darkness of the cell. I placed my hands on the cold bars of the cell, and pried it open with my bare hands.
The pair of red eyes advanced towards me and stopped directly in front of me. A hand traveled to my chin and opened my mouth gently, as if to not awaken me from this... Trance?
A mouth breathed some red mist, which I gasped in, immediately making me sleepy. I fell to the floor but felt some strong arms catch me before I could.
"Sweet nightmares, Prince." I saw a little smirk before drowsiness overtook me.
