Waking up

Up there is- from left to right- Ryder, Taylor, and Asher.

I woke up with the sounds of flowing water next to my head.

Yesterday's events slapped me in the face.

I started to get up but fell back down when a arm tightened around me.

Aiden was still asleep but I had to get up to go home. I decided to just wait a couple of minutes.

It was still dark outside, seeing as I was trained to wake up super early, it didn't bother me.

I was subconsciously checking out Aiden's face.

His raven black hair fell perfectly over his defined face.

Strong, high cheekbones that matched his amazing jawline.

His eyelashes were long and thick, making any girl jealous of them.

The blue of his eyes just- WAIT

HE'S AWAKE

"Good morning!", I said suddenly in a chipper mood.

"Hey baby girl", he said in a husky, deep tone.

We lay in silence for a couple of moments- silently agreeing to both go to my house.

I immediately started worrying about Zach. He's become even more protective of me since Austin- the douche who tried to rape me.

Aiden must've sensed my stressed aura and reassured me that he had called Zach a couple days ago anyway to plan this.

I was pretty shocked. Why would he do all of this for me?

Because he loves you you idiot..........., my other self said to me.

I slapped my forehead, trying to stop thinking about this too hard.

Aiden just looked at me in amusement.

"Did you just- slap yourself?........"

We stand in complete silence for a second before we both blurt out laughing.

We laughed so hard that we needed to lean on each other for support.

I couldn't help but feel like in a way, I was betraying Ryder. I mean, it's not like Ryder and I are dating, but- you know what I'm getting at don't you?

We walked back to my house keeping up a conversation about the most random things.

By the time we were at the front door, we were arguing about who was better in the Twilight movies, Taylor Lautner or Robert Pattinson.

"Taylor has a better body!", I yelled at him.

"He just takes his shirt off every 10 seconds! Robert is actually a good actor!", He yelled back.

"Yeah?! Well how come Jacob was the role of the best friend while Edward just broke her heart HUH?", I countered.

"BECAUSE EVERY CHICK DIGS THE PALE HEARTBREAKER!", he screeched at me.

He was panting hard while I just gaped at him in complete speechlessness.

Zach walked down the stairs along with Ryder, Taylor, and Asher.

They just stared at us.

Some with amusement.

And some with a burning rage *cough Taylor cough*

She really does love to sleep.

Aiden and I looked at each other for a split second before running up to my room lightening fast.

We locked the door and fell back against in in relief.

But our relief was short lived when we felt someone banging on the door like a madman.

"You better be lucky it's your birthday, Midnight!"

I smiled and opened the door only to be squished into open arms.

The three of us walked downstairs to eat breakfast.

After we ate some toast and Nutella :), Zach wanted to take me somewhere, so I changed into ripped skinny jeans and a loose grey off the shoulder top.

He went to our Camaro and started it up.

He got something out from the backseat- a navy blue tie?

"It's a blindfold", Zach explained.

"And what do I do about that?", I replied snarky.

"Put it on!", he said impatiently.

"Okay, okay", I said giving in.

I put it on and we drove a little bit.

We stopped and he opened my door for me while picking me up and ungracefully plopping me over his shoulder.

"Hey!", I whined.

"Calm yo self, Sis", he said.

He walked a little bit, then I assume he opened a door and walked even more.

I heard the chatter of a crowd.

He dropped my blindfold to reveal a mall. A HUGE MALL.

He smirked at me- another trait we shared- and gave me a shiny black credit card.

"It has 800 bucks on it. Go crazy", Is all he said.

I squealed- attracting some people's attention.

I ran into a ton of stores buying a LOT of stuff.

Zach was following me the entire way. He told me I should pick out some fancy dresses, so I did.

I decided to go out of my comfort zone and buy some less bold dresses.

A peach sweetheart neckline dress that flowed down to my knees was one of them.

When we finished shopping, it was about 6 in the evening.

We were leaving to go to the parking lot when a guy stopped us.

He was as tall as Zach, and had brown hair and warm brown eyes.

He had a friend with him carrying a camera.

"Hello there, I'm a YouTuber. Would it be okay with you if I ask 3 questions and if you say yes to any of them you have to kiss me okay?"

I was bored. "Sure!", I said.

I could feel Zach giving the dude a warning glare.

"Are you ready?"

"Yeah"

"I got you!", he said.

Wait- DANG IT!

"I have a boyfriend", I said randomly.

"Oh really, what's his name?", the dude said not believing me.

"Aiden", I said.

I can't believe I just said that! OMG

I could feel Zach's confused and shocked gaze.

"Oh okay", he said disappointedly.

I felt bad so I kissed his cheek and he brightened.

"Bye!", I said and walked away with Zach.

He was silent in the car ride.

"You love him don't you?", he said out of nowhere.

"I- I- What-", I stuttered.

He smiled softly.
