Mom's Home?

My head on his shoulder, we fell asleep.

Aiden and I woke up to a click and flash.

We heard murmurs of,

"OMG they're so cute!!!!"
"He better not hurt her"
"You got that right"

And

"Oh my beautiful daughter has a boyfriend!"

Wait what?

I jolted awake while backflipping onto my feet.

I saw Zach, Taylor(with a camera), and Ryder.

Everybody was pretty used to me doing crazy things like this, so it didn't affect them.

I looked a little to the left to see-

"Mother!?", I yelled out probably bursting their eardrums.

"Isab- er- Midnight, I'm so sorry that I couldn't make it in time yesterday, I was supposed to surprise you! The plane had so many problems I eventually paid for a private charter to get home again", she blurted out in one breath.

She was home. She was actually here!

I hugged her as tight as I could, my arms wrapping around her small frame.

She stroked my hair saying something about how she got a break off of work to be here for her kids.

We felt another set of arms around Mom and I......Zach.

Eventually Taylor, Aiden, and Ryder all joined into the group hug.

My mom yelled at everyone to go shower and get dressed for breakfast that she was going to make.

We all hurried away, eager for Mom's homemade breakfast.

I showered quickly with my vanilla body wash and shaved too. I used my matching vanilla lotion after everything.

I dried my hair and put on black high waisted shorts with gold buttons along the sides with a black loose shirt of Zach's that exposed one of my shoulders.

I added my custom black and gold vans to it, feeling a little matchy today.

I ran down the hallway to the stairs when I felt too lazy to walk down stairs so I grabbed the banister and slid down in a spiral while giggling the entire way.

I slid off and fell on my butt.

I looked up to see the amused faces of Zach and Mom as they leaned against the counter watching me.

"You look happy", said Zach.

"I'm just happy that Mom's home", I replied ecstatic.

"I'm happy to hear that sweetheart", Mom said.

Ryder, Taylor, and Aiden came rushing down the stairs along with Asher who said he had to go home.

Taylor went to see him away.

Ryder and Aiden were currently engaged in a staring contest.

I decided to go talk to Ryder to clear things up so I don't hurt his feelings too much.

I motioned for Ryder to follow me to the living room, and he complied.

He sat down while watching me expectantly.

"Ryder........, whatever happened between us- I don't even know what is was, but I love Aiden", I said trying to get the point across.

"Honestly, you're my best guy friend and I don't want to lose that", I added on.
